Mascara is one of those beauty products that we can all agree is pretty straight forward. A few swipes here, a few swipes there. Yep, mascara is (thankfully) a beauty tool that is as easy to master as unscrewing the cap. But here's where mascaras come in with low-key magic: They all have different formulas. Some include fibers; some are lengthening; some are volumizing; and some are all of the above. But enter MILK Makeup to launch a mascara that has one of the most unique formulas we've seen to date.
The new MILK Kush Mascara ($24.00, Sephora) is the second launch from MILK since announcing they were going entirely vegan. And it's a good one. This vegan formula boasts some serious volumizing properties that actually utilizes unique heart-shaped fibers to add serious height. Other than being an adorable ingredient, heart-shaped fibers are all-natural and are actually designed to improve the typical fiber scenario, which can get flaky and crumbly. According to the brand, the hollow design allows for the fibers to attach to the lashes no matter how you apply.
But, as cool as hearts are, they're not the star ingredient in this unique mascara. It's actually made with cannabis oil. Yep, you read that correctly, cannabis oil is a major player in making your lashes, shall we say, sky-high? If you're curious as to why cannabis oil, it's actually quite a hit. Because MILK made a move to be 100 percent vegan, they turned to this nourishing plant-based ingredient to help the fibers bind to the lashes. Plus, the oil helps condition and nourish your delicate lashes. What's more, it makes for a creamier texture, which in turn, allows for smoother application and removal.
Cool, huh? If you're ready to give this a go yourself, you're in luck. MILK just dropped the new Kush Mascara today, 4/20. (Insert LOL here.) You can pick up Kush from milkmakeup.com for only $24. Psst. We also suspect some very lucky Influensters might be getting the chance to test this product out too! Stay tuned to our Instagram for more info.
