As much as we love millennial pink, there's a new color that has us excited for 2019. At the end of last year, Pantone announced their color selection for 2019, and it's a warm coral hue that just might give millennial pink a run for its photo-worthy money! Living Coral is a bright and lively coral with warm golden undertones that Pantone says "embodies our desire for playful expression."
And hey, if Pantone says 2019 will be a year for playful expression, we're game! Although we're expecting to see plenty of Living Coral across our social media feeds, we've already noticed the energizing color in the beauty world. Chances are you already own a coral blush or lippie, but in case your beauty bag is lacking some Living Coral, we found five lip shades to help you hop on this year's trend!
Ciaté's new multidimensional lipstick offers some serious over-the-top, extra reflective shine that can be worn solo or over another color. Thanks to real glitter pigments and a metallic finish, this is the perfect option for "playful expression" in 2019. The Topaz shade is a soft peachy coral that has Living Coral written all over it.
This highly pigmented lippie from COVERGIRL might have a new name (you may remember it as Colorlicious!), but it's still the same classic, mega color payoff that you know and love. Sure, there are 48 shade options and three finishes to choose from, but Decadent Peach is our pick for a softer take on the coral trend.
Like your coral a bit more fiery? YSL Beauty's Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick comes in a spicy shade called Coral Trench that we think will up the ante any day. Plus, the 60 percent oil lipstick insures that your lips are conditioned and nourished while enjoying that pop of color.
If gloss is more your game, ABH's Girly shade of their top selling and #2-rated lip gloss on Influenster is a sparkly coral version of their high shine gloss that we're pretty sure any glossaholic will crave.
5. The Lip Bar in Goals ($13 at thelipbar.com)
This two-toned lipstick offers two metallic options of coral that you can rock. Of course, you can blend both together for a perfect touch of both! The Lip Bar's creamy lipstick formula doesn't just stop with the color though. Thanks to shea butter, coconut oil, avocado oil, and vitamin E, this is one nourishing formula as well.
