Typically, Labor Day Weekend is all about unplugging from work, spending time with friends and family, shopping some really good salesand eating some seriously good food. But this year, like many other events in 2020, LDW may look a bit different. Still, this summer has produced some trends, particularily in the food department, that are worth celebrating. And including them in your weekend plans could be the perfect way to wind down summerno matter how many people are at your table.

Hungry? Take a look at some BBQ classics with a 2020 twist:

Zingy Burger Toppers

Whether you go for a pre-made beef burger like Schweid and Sons Burgers The Prime Burger or prefer to cook up an alternative patty like Beyond Meat's Plant-Based Burger Patties we suggest you top it off with a hefty squeeze of Heinz Kraft Mashups Honeyracha. The honey and sriracha combo is inarguably one of the best things to come out of 2020. Finish it off by toasting up some Martin's Potato Sandwich Rolls on the grill, and you have yourself a BBQ winner.

Chicken Legs Buffalo Style

J.L. Kraft Tangy Buffalo Marinade-in-a-Bag makes achieveing this restaurant favorite dish at home, simple. Toss your chicken in the ready-to-go bag and let it marinade for as little as 30 minutes before throwing on the grill.

Potatoes with Purpose

Restaurants have been hit hard this year, and that's one reason why we just love the latest inspiration behind Lay's chip flavors. Each of the five bags replicates the flavors of some of America's most iconic dishes from restaurants across the nation. For example, the Lay's Potato Chips Carnitas Street Taco is inspired by El Torito in Los Angeles.

Dressing for Impressing

While ranch continues to be a cult-like favorite dressing for practically anything ranging from veggies to pizza, we are all about Bitten's Creamy Lime Avocado Salad Dressing this summer. We even tasted it live and had to admit the genuine zest from real fruit ingredients left us wanting more.

Refreshing Spiked Seltzer

If there was a summer drink champion of 2020 it would be spiked seltzer. No matter your brand or flavor of choice, the spiked seltzer was enjoyed by many. We like CANTEEN, it's one of the newer options out there. And can't wait to take a sip of the Cucumber Mint Vodka Soda or the Watermelon Vodka Soda this weekend.

Dishes that Deliver

And of course, no 2020 food roundup would be complete without the mention of delivery meal services like GrubHub. Whether your want to order in for a group or just for yourself, the restuarants will surely be happy to have your business.

And if you are in fact hosting an outdoor gathering, have a few bottles of hand sanitizer, like PURELL Advanced Instant Hand Sanitizer w/Aloe, out for everyone to use as you all enjoy the food and eachother's company.
