When that 4 pm slump hits and you need a burst of energy, a granola bar is always a solid go to. Well, KIND is changing everything you know about your afternoon pick-me-up. In fact, there might be wine-flavored snack bars in your future. Yep, in a very special contest, KIND has consumers choosing their next limited-edition KIND flavor, with Sangria being just one possibility.
The contest is simple: head over to KIND's Raise the Bar contest page and cast your vote for what the new flavor should be. KIND will produce a small batch of the winning flavor and will ship it out to voters late this summer.
Potential new flavors include the ever-intriguing Sangria, which contains orange zest, mixed nuts, and pomegranate tart cherry; sushi-loving Sesame Seaweed, which is a unique mix of wasabi, seaweed, sesame, and peanut; Sweet Pretzel Crunch, which contains pretzel, salted caramel, and mixed nuts for what we imagine to be a salty-meets-sweet dream; and lastly Spiced Fig, which is a blend of pistachio, cardamom, and fig a.k.a. a candle we'd also love to see made.
See the brand's hilarious promo video for the campaign—they teamed up with The Onion for this, so you know it's good.
See what we mean? Right now, it appears as if Spiced Fig is in the lead, but we have a feeling Sangria will make a last-minute run for the gold. (Hint, hint.)
The contest runs through May 31 and the only way to receive a bar is to vote! And who knows, if a flavor is popular enough, KIND might just release it to the masses. Fingers crossed.
