Rose gold is about as hot right now as its younger cousin, Millennial pink. From beautifully-clad packaging to actual products bearing the rosy hue, this color is here to stay. And we're all about finding new ways to incorporate it into our beauty routine—we just discovered a new-found love of rose-gold lipstick. And now we're falling hard for eyeshadow in the pretty hue.
And we're not the only ones. Julianne Hough recently went full-on rosy princess with a makeup look created by celebrity makeup artist Spencer Barnes. Lucky for us, we got the exact breakdown of the e.l.f. cosmetics products he used to craft this stunning eye look. Best part? They're all under $10.
Barnes created this soft and rosy look with a handful of our tried-and-true e.l.f. favorites. To start, Spencer prepped the lid with e.l.f. Eyeshadow Primer to get Julianne's peepers ready for shadow. Next, using Eyeshadow C Brush, he applied the spicy red and plum shades from the Mad for Matte 2 Eyeshadow Palette to add dimension and contour. Next, he used the metallic shade from the Sunset Prism Eyeshadow Palette on the center of the lid and smudged the shadow out under the eye using the Beautifully Precise Smudge Brush. He finished the look with a big flirty lash with the 3-in-1 Mascara for length and volume—and voilà! C'est fini!
