No base coat. No top coat.

Many of us have a love and hate relationship with gel nail polish. On one hand, you get a lasting, durable manicure. On the other, you end up spending a lot of time and money every two weeks or so to keep up the look. And don't get us started on the removal process—it has to be just so or else your nails are left distressed and destroyed. Well, all of that might be changing with Jamberry's new line: ColourCure.

You might know Jamberry of nail wrap fame, but you might soon know them for their hybrid nail polish-meets-gel launch. ColourCure boasts the same durability and hardness as a gel manicure that lasts a week to 10 days but with an application time that takes 10 minutes. And here's the best part: you don't need a base or top coat.

So here's how you do it. Simply apply two to three coats of your color of choice, making sure to stick your tips in a LED lamp for approximately 99 seconds between coats. After your last coat, wait a minute and voilà, you're actually done. Now when it comes time to remove. Jamberry boasts a super simple process: soak nails in nail polish remover for two to three minutes and wipe clean. No crazy wait time and no scraping or scuffing up nails.

Sound intriguing to you? Well, you can shop 11 colors (and 10 more to come in September) at Jamberry's website. Although each color is a little more than your standard polish ($35 per bottle), when you think about the convenience factor and how much cheaper it is than a trip to the salon, you might just find it to be a perfect match for you. And in case you're wondering: they're 100 percent vegan, cruelty free, and gluten free, with no Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Ethyl Tosylamide, TPHP, or Xylen in the formula!
