What's in Our Site Editor's Bag?

Each of us has a very different philosophy in the beauty department, especially when it comes to the products needed to get through the day. That’s why we turned to our Site Editor, Caitlin Miller, to spill the deets on what’s inside her beauty bag. She has normal skin with a few breakouts here and there but swears by a few products to keep her feeling beautiful and fresh. Read on to find out what she schlepps to the office on a daily basis.

La Roche Posay Anthelios AOX Sunscreen SPF 50

La Roche

Price: $42.50 on Amazon.com

“I'm not kidding when I say I wear sunscreen every day. Even if I'm running late and don't have time for makeup or hair, I will always apply sunscreen. I like this formula because it's lightweight and smooth like a serum but still maintains the daily SPF that my fair skin needs. Bonus points: it includes ingredients such as baicalin, vitamin Cg, and vitamin E to also help fight free radical damage.”

bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Concealer

bareMinerals Blemish Remedy Concealer

Price: $24 at Sephora

“I'm not much of a foundation person, so I often find myself turning to concealer to cover up blemishes, redness, and other unfortunate skin troubles. I like this stick in particular because the formula is super creamy and easy to blend. (A little bit goes a long way!) Plus, it contains blemish-fighting ingredients such as tea tree oil to help stop a pimple in its tracks.”

Eyeko Black Magic Eyeliner

Eyeko Black Magic Eyeliner

Price: $22 on Eyeko.com

“Eyeliner is probably my favorite beauty product. Rarely do I leave the house without a touch of liner of some kind. This liquid formula is very silky and glides on seamlessly, making my cat eye much less of a daily struggle. I particularly like this one because of its inky black hue and lasting power.”

Glossier Boy Brow

Glossier Boy Brow

Price: $16 on Glossier.com

“It took me years to finally embrace my thick, bushy brows. But now they're my favorite feature! This is my first non-pencil purchase, and I'm absolutely obsessed. The tiny wand on the Boy Brow is ideal for combing hairs in place and coating them with just enough color.”

Benefit Dandelion Box o' Powder Blush

Benefit Dandelion

Price: $29 at Sephora

“Admittedly, I didn't get into blush until becoming a beauty editor several years ago. However, now it's a must-have for me. I travel a lot, so this tiny travel size of Benefit's classic Dandelion Powder Blush is perfect for tossing in my bag and making it quickly through TSA. I love how light and subtle the color is. It's just enough to give that flushed glow!”

Lano Lanolin 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm - The Original

Lanolips

Price: $35 on Amazon.com

“They're not joking when they say this is a multipurpose balm. I use this primarily for my lips, but Lano's ointment also works wonders on dry, cracked hands. This Aussie find is probably one of my favorite beauty discoveries. Not to mention its packaging is simply adorable!”
