INCOMING Skincare: New Products from Dr. Brandt, Cetaphil, and more!
With spring and summer just around the corner, we can't deny how excited we are to switch up our skincare routine. Here are some brand new skincare products that we're already obsessed with.
Why we love it: This high-tech skincare line from celebrity dermatologist Dr. Brandt is always marked by promising names for its products: Do Not Age, xtend your youth, and his most recent, pores no more. The pores no more line, intended for oily/combination skin, promises to “unclog, refine and minimize pores, control excess oil, and mattify shine,” including everything from a tea tree oil and salicylic acid-powered cleanser to a anti-aging mattifying lotion powered by apple stem cells. If you’re looking for a serious boost to your skincare regimen, we’re thinking that this might be a good place to start.
Where to get it: Sephora, Ulta, and drbrandtskincare.com.
Why we love it: Your favorite inexpensive beauty brand now has an equally inexpensive skincare line! This four-step set includes an Illuminating Eye Cream, Soothing Serum, Daily Hydration Moisturizer, and Nourishing Night cream, all in sleek, baby-blue packaging.
Where to get it: Target, Ulta, and eyeslipsface.com.
Why we love it: Since we’ve been hidden under layers of tights and pants and coats all winter, we basically welcome any mention of a tan with open arms. This new tanning lotion from Sally Hansen promises an even, non-streaky tan that lasts up to a week, containing shea butter to help moisturize your skin along the way. Skirts, shorts, and dresses -- here we come!
Where to get it: Your local drugstore.
Why we love it: This beauty blog-turned-skincare line has quickly become a cool girl beauty favorite since it launched late last year. Glossier’s Mega Greens Galaxy Pack, appropriately dubbed a “juice cleanse for your face,” is rich with leafy greens and antioxidants that help moisturize and detoxify your skin. The Moisturizing Moon Mask, which they recommend to apply after the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack for the “ultimate skin makeover,” is packed with natural ingredients that help even out your complexion.
Where to get it: Glossier.com.
Why we love it: Cetaphil’s skincare line is a favorite among Influensters for its gentle, non-irritating formula great for sensitive skin -- which is why we’re excited that they’ve just launched a five-product skincare collection for babies! The new line brings all the paraben-free and hypoallergenic benefits of its popular products specially formulated for sensitive babies’ skin, turning to organic calendula (from marigold flowers) to help soothe sensitive and irritated skin.
Where to get it: Babies ‘R’ Us, Buy Buy Baby, and Cetaphil.com.
