How to Contour Without Using Makeup

If you’re obsessed with contouring like we are, you probably have a whole drawer full of palettes and products solely dedicated to the process. But, adding layer upon layer of makeup to achieve a chiseled look isn't always fast or fun. That's why we're bringing you a makeup-free way to contour. Introducing tantouring. This technique gives skin a healthy glow and looks more natural than contouring. Here's how to achieve it on your own:

Step 1: Make sure your skin is completely clean of makeup and is moisturized.

Step 2: Select your self-tanning formula. You can use anything from a liquid or cream to even a towelette. (I suggest towelettes for easy application).

Step 3: Start with your cheekbones. Find where the hollows of your cheeks are (under the cheekbones) and swipe the towelette where a natural shadow would fall if you were under an overhead light.

Step 4: Next, swipe the towelette down the sides of your nose, along your forehead, and across your jaw line.

Step 5: Let the tanner settle in for approximately 2-3 hours, then rinse.

You will have achieved the effortless contoured look without using any makeup at all! This easy technique is easy to accomplish and lasts for about two to three days!
