How To Take Insta-worthy Shots of Every Bite in 5 Steps

POV: You love food and want to share your yummy finds with your community. Influenster is here to help you make your food look as good as it tastes with the three C's of content creation: clarity, center of attention, and context.

1. The right lighting can help show off your food's delicious details and texture. Find a source of natural light, like a large window in your home, and shoot the pic during the morning hours.

2. Stage your products and be sure to remove any distracting items. You'll also want to make sure the brand names and labels of your products are visible and clear in your shot.

3. Place your food item on the kitchen counter, dining table, or anywhere else that's relevant. If you're feeling fancy, try to get an action shot of your product, like pasta twirled around a fork, or French fries dipped in ketchup.

4. Show us how you enjoy the product. If you're not up for making a cameo, maybe it's your hands holding silverware. Even including a crumb or two can add a human touch.

5. If your kitchen isn't photo-ready or lacks good lighting, you can place your product on a wooden board, decorate it with props, and take an overhead shot by the window.
