Everything You Need To Know About Avoiding Bikini Bumps

It's beach season and the last thing you want to worry about when putting on your favorite swim suit is those stubborn bikini bumps. We've got tips and tricks to help you prevent and cure those unsightly, uncomfortable bumps!

LET IT GROW, LET IT GROW

Yeah sure those aren't the exact words to the song, but if you sing this little diddy to yourself you can get rid of those bumps. Try to let your hair grow out a bit in between shaves. Shaving over existing razor bumps will only irritate them further and could even tear them open leaving you vulnerable to infection and scarring.

STAY SHARP

Throw away the dull razors. We know the last thing you want to do is drop money on razors but in the end, a dull razor does more damage than you think! They can snag the hair and irritate the skin.

LATHER UP

Always use shaving cream or a shaving cream substitute (ye,s we're talking to you conditioner users). Shaving cream softens hairs making them much easier to remove. Also,  avoid shaving over the same spot twice—this can irritate the skin and cause those bumps to pop up.
