If you ask us, you never need a reason to splurge a little on yourself. But in case you were looking for one, we have just the news for you. Hourglass has just released the latest edition of their beloved Ambient Lighting Palette. As any fan of the luxury beauty brand knows, the Ambient Lighting powders are some of the favorites among Influensters. And, the brand has responded to the beauty world's collective obsession by releasing the strobing powders, bronzers, and blushers in compact Ambient Lighting palettes.

The newest addition to the palette family is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette ($80 at Sephora). The 100 percent vegan palette actually contains six exclusive, new shades. The line up for Unlocked includes: two finishing powders (in Soft Light and Filtered Light), two blushes (in Nude Glow and Mood Flush), a bronzer (in Golden Bronze Light), and metallic strobe powder (in Champagne Strobe Light).

The powders themselves contain the same lightweight yet powerful formula that Hourglass fans love. There's even photoluminescent technology that diffuses the light to make skin have that je ne said quoi glow that will have people wondering how you mastered a Snapchat filter IRL. We've had a chance to put the powders to the test and can attest to their color payoff. They're entirely simple and natural while still allowing for building up that more enhanced sheen.

As if those shades weren't enough to convince you the $80 price tag is worth it (cough, cough, it is!), the charitable aspect behind this palette might be. Hourglass has already taken action towards becoming the first 100 percent cruelty-free luxury beauty brand by 2020, and now they're taking it a step further with Unlocked. Five percent of all profits from the palette will be donate to the Nonhuman Rights Project.

The palette is out now at Hourglasscosmetics.com, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Sephora—just in time for those holiday wishlists.
