Pore strips are staples in any skincare routine. They do a great job of extracting those pesky blackheads and nasty oil build up, but they can also be expensive to purchase time and time again. Not to mention those strips can be hard to customize to your specific problem area, thus completely defeating the purpose! To solve any pore problem, this recipe can be whipped up in just a few seconds and can have your pores clear in just a few minutes.

Gelatin packet such as Knox Original Gelatin

Mix one tablespoon of milk with one packet of the unflavored gelatin in a microwave safe bowl. (Make sure it’s well blended!) This mixture should be enough for you and a friend to share. Next, microwave the mixture for eight to 12 seconds, depending on your microwave’s strength.

When it’s cool and to apply, smooth the the concoction over your problem areas and let it dry for about five to 15 minutes depending on how thick the coating is. You can apply it with your fingers, but if you can definitely use a concealer or eyeshadow brush. After the wait is over, peel off the dried pieces and admire your hard work!

Of course, if you’re not interested in the home made rendition of pores strips, check these products out.
