Although we'd venture to say that every season is candy season. Spring is particularly important for those with a sweet tooth because after all, it is Easter season. And we don't have to tell you that with Easter comes candy. And more candy. (In fact, it's such a big candy holiday that we even took a peek at the most buzzed-about Easter candies per state just to see which are the best for filling any Easter basket.)
So it really comes as no surprise to us that many brands are launching new flavors to try to tap into the sweet season. But this latest flavor of Hershey's Kisses has us a little puzzled. The newest flavor from the chocolate experts sounds exactly everything you want in your favorite frozen drink while on vacation. The new Pineapple Coconut White Chocolate Candy combines the tropical flavors of both pineapple and coconut with the rich, creaminess of white chocolate for a unique new bite.
Now, although the tropical kiss sounds a little out of the norm, according to foodie expert The Junk Food Aisle, there's actually a good reason for this combo. The new flavor is supposedly a part of Hershey’s “Flavors of America” series, which brought us new flavors of Hershey's classic candies, each inspired by a different state. This particular flavor pays tribute to the flavors of tropical Hawaii! Last year, you'll remember Hawaii got Coconut Almond Kisses, and this year it's all about that Pineapple Coconut White Chocolate life!
The new flavor has already started to roll out into candy aisles. And if you're lucky, you may be able to get your hands on the new chocolate Kisses just in time for filling that Easter basket on Sunday.
But what do you think of this flavor combo? Is it something you'd like to try? Share your thoughts below!
