Hershey's Carrot Cake Kisses—Let's Discuss
We need to talk about orange chocolate.
We will be the first to admit that we're open to trying anything when it comes to dessert. (Chocolate-filled Peeps, come at us!) But when we heard about the latest launch from Hershey, we went through a roller coaster of emotions. Hershey's Easter Kisses Carrot Cake are here just in time for Easter festivities, and it's giving us so many feelings.
The sweet treat is basically a seasonal version of your favorite 4 p.m. snack. Although these limited-edition candies are shaped just like a normal chocolate kiss, they're not quite run of the mill. When you unwrap the carrot-clad wrapper, you're greeted with a pastel orange kiss. But it doesn't stop there.
The candy is actually formulated to taste like a slice of carrot cake. White chocolate, vanilla, and spices are supposed to give a cream cheese twist to little drop of heaven. Hmm. We can either see this going very, very well or getting a little questionable. But who are we to question the dessert gods?
The new Carrot Cake Hershey's Kisses are available now at Walmart for $3.24 a bag. We might be skeptical, but we're totally willing to give 'em a shot. All in the name of journalism, of course.
What do you think of the new flavor? Would you try Carrot Cake Kisses? Let us know!
