How to Get Gwen Stefani's '90s Makeup Look

If I were a rich girl....

If I were a rich girl, I'd still want to know how to do this summer concert-ready makeup look. Inspired by our favorite ’90s chick, Gwen Stefani, this video is everything you need to get the look at home.

Watch the tutorial above for an easy way to transform into a rock star and check out the steps below for the products you'll need to complete the process. Come back to our YouTube channel every Thursday at 4 PM EST for another TBT video, and let us know in the comments which look we should try next!

Step 1—Eyeshadow: Cover your lids with a sheer cream eyeshadow as a base, then apply a lighter shade to the center of your lids to make them appear larger. Define your crease with a tan, nude shade. Add a darker brown shade to the outer corners.

Step 2—Liner: Use a liquid liner to line your lids and wing them out at the end.

Step 3—Mascara: For extra long and voluminous lashes, use a lash primer first, then apply your favorite mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

Try: L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Primer

Step 4—Brows: Fill in your brows to cover any bare spots. Gwen didn't have bushy brows back then—hey, it was the '90s, OK—so no need to go wild.

Step 5—Rhinestone base: Apply a shimmery highlight shade above your brows for a pop of color beneath the rhinestones.
