GLAMGLOW might be known for their crowd-pleasing Gravity Mud Firming Treatment that's now been re-imagined in Sonic the Hedgehog Blue and Insta-worthy glitter, but their latest launch isn't one to be missed in the slightest either. Sure, it might not be as sparkly or blue, for that matter, but don't discredit this new launch—it boasts a whopping three days worth of hydrating power.
The new GLAMGLOW Waterburst Hydrated Glow Moisturizer ($54) combines the science of K-beauty with the moisture power of hyaluronic acid. (More on that wonderful humectant here!) The new water cream utilizes water from the Jeju Island—an island off the southern tip of Korea that boast volcanic and mineral-rich soil and water—as well as Moisture Lock Technology. Basically, the moisturizer contains varying sizes of hyaluronic acid molecules that are "powerful enough to absorb 1,000 times their weight in water," according to the brand. And, as if that wasn't cool enough, they actually burst on your skin when applied. Um, yes please!
So what does that mean for your skin? Well, it means that it can pull in water—and lots of it. Not only will Waterburst keep moisture in skin locked in, but it will also pull in moisture from the atmosphere directly to skin, adding to the hydration factor. In fact, it's so powerful, the brand claims it will keep skin hydrated for 72 hours, which in the height of winter, is so necessary. And, you skincare enthusiasts might recall that water creams and hyaluronic acids were all the rage this past year, so it really only stands to reason that GLAMGLOW utilize the power of the magical ingredient to tackle winter skin, too.
Although the new moisturizer was set to launch in the new year, we got a little treat. You can shop this beauty right now at glamglow.com, just in time for holiday shopping. **Hint, hint!**
