Get the Look from NYFW: Rebecca Vallance
New York Fashion Week is over, and we’re feeling the same kind of sadness as when Christmas passes and we have to wait until next season for the fun to start again. While we (not so) patiently wait, let’s take the chance to look back at some of the stunning looks from this season’s shows.
Australian-born Rebecca Vallance took the runway by storm as one of the hottest up-and-coming designers to show at NYFW. Her intimate show gave attendees the chance to get up close and personal with the models and check out their gorgeously long locks and dramatic eye makeup.

Rebecca Vallance’s models rocked dramatic eyeshadow with metallic tones to bring out their beautiful eyes. Start off with a glittery silver eyeshadow on the eyelid, and bring out some depth with a darker silver on the outside of the lid, and use a golden brown shade to blend them together. Make the eyes really pop with a shimmery copper eyeshadow or eyeliner right on the inside and underside of the tear duct. Keep your eyeliner sharp and tight to the waterline and complete the look with jet-black mascara and full eyebrows!

Another critical element to the models’ stunning looks is their long, shiny hair, perfectly curled into effortless waves right at the ends. To nail this look, you’re going to need to come armed and ready: to keep those flyaways in check, shine serum will be your best friend--and if it has anti-frizz properties, all the better! Don’t forget to protect your hair with some heat protectant. Now, whip out your favorite straightener and straighten until you get about ½ - 2/3 of the way down to the ends. Take the remaining hair and wrap it around the barrel before sliding the straightener down in order to get those instant waves.
