After selling 6K Dermaflash treatments in her med-spa in just five years, Dara Levy realized she was onto something: women crave an at-home option for dermaplaning. Thus formed the idea for the beauty tool of the same name. The device, which removes the oldest layer of dead skin cells as well as peach fuzz, provides women with an in-home way to take their beauty treatments into their own hands.
Today Dermaflash has several iterations, has been used on celebs prior to the red carpet, and is in Nordstroms nationwide. Talk about disrupting the beauty tool space in just a few years.
