Makeup sponges have stolen the applicator spotlight. We're not talking about your average foam blender, but rather DIY sponges. For starters, we saw the SiliSponge break the internet, which was basically just a silicone bra insert. And then there was the Heme Baby Q Transparent Puff that smiled as you applied your foundation. And now another makeup genius is throwing glitter into the mix. See for yourself in the photo, below.
Makeup artist Angie Johnson created this sparkly tool to keep foundation in your bottle and make application less of a chore. The blender is made from medical grade and hypoallergenic silicone, which doesn’t absorb makeup like foam blenders do. Plus, it only takes a second to clean. You can wash it with soapy water or use makeup wipes to swipe off excess product. And, of course, it promises to give you that smooth, blended finish only sponge applicators can do.
Here's the catch–they’re not available for purchase quite yet, but if you donate $28 to their Kickstarter campaign, you’ll receive an Evie Blender by the end of March.
Happy blending! Would you try this product? Tell us in the comments below!
