We didn't think it was possible, but the Olsens have made smelling like smoke and flowers #goals. The two newest scents to the Elizabeth and James Nirvana fragrance library might be unexpected ones, but they're welcome additions just the same. Get prepared to swoon over Amethyst and French Grey.
The two new velvety scents are the latest fragrance pair released to the Nirvana line and were created in partnership with legendary fragrance house, Firmenich. First, there's the warm and spicy Amethyst. Housed in a decadent violet bottle, Amethyst is a juice rich in notes of refined tobacco, sweet honeysuckle, and spicy cedar wood.
Next, there's French Grey. As a more natural, floral fragrance with touches of earth notes, French Grey is an intriguing scent. With a deep smoky bottle, this scent has hints of lavender, honeyed neroli, and earthy musk for an unexpected pairing.
The new scents are available right now at Sephora in three sizes: 30ml ($65.00) 50ml ($85.00) and rollerball 10ml ($28.00). Can't wait to get your hands on these new scents? Us either. In the mean time, take a peek at what Influensters are saying about the original Nirvana White and Black scents, both of which have an average of 4.6 stars on Influenster.
"I've never had a true favorite perfume until I got my hands on this and Nirvana White. I like both scents but Black is my absolute favorite. I think that it's sensual and smooth, bold and feminine. I get compliments every time I wear it! Even though after a few hours it may seem like the scent has gone away, other people are still able to smell it on me so I do believe it is long wearing based on that. It is quite pricey, but I think it's worth it. If you want to try it without shelling out too much money you can buy the rollerball for a little more than $20 and Sephora sometimes has the mini rollerball set (with white and black) in stock and it's a great way to try out both scents. I also like to wear one scent to start my day and then layer on the other scent midday and I find that the combination is also really nice."
"I've never been so in love with an entire line of fragrance as I am the Nirvana scents. This is for sure my favorite. Subtle and feminine but not overly girly. Clean. I never have gotten so many compliments on a fragrance than when I wear this. Priced fairly reasonably compared to other fragrances. Little goes a long way!"
"I love this scent! It's been my everyday fragrance recently because it has the right amount of sophistication but is still light and airy compared to my other recent favorite (from the same line) the Elizabeth James Nirvana Black. I can wear Nirvana White to work and add just a touch of the Nirvana Black if I'm going out at night and want something just a little more sultry but the White can stand on it's own."
