Easter Candy and Wine Pairings For Every Taste

Matches made in heaven.

We love Easter season for so many reasons—the pastels, egg-painting parties, but most of all, the candy. Though we've gotten older and (ugh) our parents don't play Easter bunny anymore, when it comes to sweets, the excitement still remains. But forget the old wicker baskets and egg hunts, this Easter season we're aiming to go above and beyond—pairing our favorite sweets with wine! Ahead, we've rounded up the best candy and its vino BFF.

Peeps and Cupcake Vineyards Chardonnay

Pair this light and sweet chardonnay with an equally delicate candy that's overflowing in sweetness.

Cadbury Creme Eggs and White Girl Rosé

After a few sips of this ultra-fruity rosé, your taste buds will be craving something of the complete opposite flavor and texture. Cue Cadbury Creme Eggs—the softest, most delectable Easter eggs ever.

Tootsie Roll Easter Eggs and Kris Wine Pinot Noir

Besides the fact that they're basically twins with their packaging, these two are perfect for each other in other ways, too! After sipping Kris Wine's hint of linden and honey, these extra chocolate-y Tootsie Roll Eggs make the perfect post-vino snack.

Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans and Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

Josh Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon is a perfect pair for the sweetness of each fruity jelly bean. The hints of blueberry will really bring out the fruity flavor in this candy.
