When it comes to our friends over at Dunkin' Donuts, there's never a shortage of yummy news. They gave us the wonders of Girl Scout cookie-flavored drinks, the perfect Valentine's Day donut, and even a shoe dedicated to runners and the Boston Marathon. But, today's news from the coffee retailer has us especially excited because it's combining coffee with our other favorite food category: ice cream.
Early this week, Dunkin' announced that they would be partnering up with Baskin-Robbins for a series of ice cream flavors inspired by Dunkin' Donuts coffee. The new ice cream flavors are set to roll out into grocery stores this spring, but we're already drooling over these coffee-infused treats.
New flavors will include an option for every taste. There's the standard Dunkin' Donuts Coffee flavor is a coffee-flavored ice cream fit for any caffeine addict. Then there's the Dunkin' Donuts French Vanilla Coffee flavor. This flavor is a combo of Dunkin' Donuts coffee-flavored ice cream with French Vanilla-flavored ice cream swirled in. Lastly, there's something for the chocolate lover. The Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Chocolate Chip flavor features Dunkin' Donuts coffee-flavored ice cream with chocolate-flavored chips sprinkled throughout. Is your stomach growling yet?
If you're eyeing these ice creams, you'll have to head to your local grocery story to shop them. They're exclusive to the freezer aisle, and you won't be able to shop them anywhere else, not even Baskin-Robbins stores. Expect to see these rolling out from now on and well into the summer months. So...carpool to the store? Anyone?
