I love coffee (basically have a coffee house in my kitchen). I love french press for a full bodied, oily cup of coffee. I call french press "brunch coffee" because it's the perfect preparation for Sunday brunch. Got this little travel mug as a gift. It's well designed and a cool concept. Also, it's a great idea if you're running out of the house and have just enough time to get your coffee and hot water in a mug with no time to wait for brew. HOWEVER, french pressed coffee should be removed from the press as soon as possible after brewing. Having a mug that the grounds sit in makes the coffee acidic and harsh (not stronger). So you need to drink quickly or pour your coffee into another mug. It's not a travel mug that you can sip on. Haven't tried it with tea, nor am I that knowledgeable about tea, but I'm assuming it's a similar experience.
