It would appear as if the dessert god has blessed us a lot lately: Mocha Oreos, Hostess Cupcake cookies, and pretzel donuts that are basically dessert for breakfast! And they're not done yet. Rumors of M&M's new Caramel flavor have been circulating since last fall. Well, turns out the candies are most definitely a reality, and they're hitting shelves sooner than you think.
If you're wondering why on Earth it took so long to make M&M's Caramel a reality, you'll be happy to know these were a true labor of love for the candy makers over at Mars. According to Delish, the process of filling the chocolate-coated candy with caramel took years to master. In fact, because the center of an M&M has never been filled with something so soft, engineers has to spend years getting it right. The result? A perfect blend of crunchy chocolate shell and gooey caramel center. See for yourself.
When we first heard about these caramel bites, we were told we'd have to wait all the way until May to get our hands on them. Well, thanks to our friends at @candyhunting, we learned that Target is already selling the candy! They're already on their website and they're running in the store's weekend add.
And a few lucky Influensters have already found them at their local grocery store and tasted the magic. See what they're saying already.
Have you tried these yet? Let us know your thoughts, Influensters!
