The Classic Milkshake
How do I make it: In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, and vanilla. Blend until the mixture is smooth and frothy, then pour into two tall glasses. Simple as that!
For our readers over 21, here's how to add a little twist on the classic vanilla shake. Reminder: keep the same base ingredients of ice cream, milk, and vanilla!
The White Russian
via Who Needs A Cape
How do I make it: Add alcohol according to your preference; for a boozier shake, add more!
If you're more of a chocolate lover, these two ingredients will turn this White Russian into your kind of shake.
The Kahlua Mocha
via Neighbor Food
How do I make it: Just like the White Russian, add both (or just one) ingredient according to your preference of flavor and thickness. Don't forget, you can always add more ice cream, too. (Note: for the pretty design, drip some chocolate syrup along the inside edge of the cup.)
And there you have it! Three different vanilla-based milkshakes perfect for any summer day because after all, shouldn't every day be National Vanilla Milkshake Day?
