Boozy Ice Pops: DIY Pop-Tail Party

Share Tweet

You don’t need to be in New York City (at People’s Pops) to enjoy a good “pop-tail”. Now, with a few basic kitchen ingredients, you can make your own party-worthy pops. A perfect addition to any glass of prosecco or on its own, we’ve listed our favorite boozy pops that will be a welcome addition to your next soirée.

1. Tequila Sunrise Pops

A tropical vaycay without the Bahamian sunburn, these are perfect if you have pineapple, grenadine and of course, tequila. All you have to do is mix the three ingredients [pineapple juice, tequila, and grenadine] and pour them into the molds. After they’ve been in the freezer for 8 hours, voila!

What You'll Need:

Tovolo Groovy Popsicle Molds / Rose Grenadine Syrup / Patron

2. Campari Citrus Pops

Have a Campari party this weekend with this delicious recipe. If you’re hosting a party, you’ll need to combine 2 cups of simple syrup, 3 cups of grapefruit/orange juice, and ½ a cup of Campari. Change the ingredient ratio to your personal preference, if needed. Combine these ingredients and pour them into Popsicle molds and stick ‘em in the fridge for 8 hours.

What You'll Need:

Master of Mixes® Simple Syrup / Organic Grapefruit Juice / Campari

3. Watermelon Margarita Pops

Here’s a convenient spin on the “tipsy watermelon” trend. This one calls for a bit more preparation time, but we promise they’re worth it! You’ll need watermelon seltzer, slices of watermelon, ¾ lime juice, ½ cup of Patron, and coarse salt. Dice the watermelon slices and add them to the watermelon spritzer. Combine this with the rest of the ingredients and pour into the molds. Just before you’re ready to serve them, sprinkle a little salt on top like a true margarita!

What You'll Need:

Izze Watermelon Juice / Margarita Salt / Lime Juice

4. Sangria Pops

Nothing says summer like sangria. This recipe is convenient because you can throw in frozen or leftover fruit so you’re not wasting any ingredients. This recipe makes 10-12 pops, so feel free to cut down on the ingredients if you have a 6-popsicle mold. Combine your favorite 2 ½ cups of red white, 1 cup of pomegranate juice, 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, a splash of orange juice, and your choice of fruit [we love grapes and blueberries]. If you want to make authentic sangria, reduce a 750-ml bottle of red in a saucepan to about 2 ½ cups and then steep it overnight with fruit before pouring into the molds. If the Spanish method is too high maintenance, the short cut is just as good!

What You'll Need:

Red Wine / Pomegranate Juice / Master of Mixes® Simple Syrup / Orange Juice
