No Need to Go to Iceland, the Blue Lagoon is Coming to You

But like, still go to Iceland.

Chances are you've had at least one friend hit up Iceland within the past year. The tiny Scandinavian island might only boast about 330K people, but it is swarming with natural beauties and wonders that make for perfect Instagram bait that it seems like the rest of the world is just now catching on to. One such spot in Iceland is the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa that is equal parts relaxing as it is photogenic. (Hey, even this editor couldn't resist a little Blue Lagoon Instagram action!)

But the Blue Lagoon is so much more than a social media hot spot, it's actually a high-end spa with  some amazing products. How good? Let's just say the luxury skincare items are coveted across Europe. And now, we're about to be able to get our hands on the goods here in the US. No plane ticket required.

With Blue Lagoon hitting stateside, that means we'll have easier access to the brand's legendary masks, which are basically the same ones you are able to slather on your face for that perfect Icelandic Insta shot. Not familiar with the products? Take a peek at three of their most popular below.

The Algae Mask ($115) is formulated with the patented algae from the Blue Lagoon itself. (We've felt this algae on the rocks surrounding the Lagoon—it's wild!) This mask is made to be used two to three times a week for about 10 minutes to combat fine lines and wrinkles.

Next up there's the Silica Mud Mask ($115), which is made of the same white clay mud you see all your friends wearing at the Blue Lagoon. This two-times-weekly mask is ideal for deep cleaning skin and reducing the appearance of pores.

Lastly, there's the Lava Scrub ($115). This scrub is actually made of the lava surrounding the Blue Lagoon, which trust us, is definitely present. Use this scrub about once a week on your face and body for a renewed, exfoliated experience. (You can learn more about the benefits of volcanic lava and ash here!)

You can shop these Blue Lagoon goodies now!
