Best Makeup for Green Eyes
Green eyed lady -- lovely lady. Want to make your eyes pop? Many makeup afficionados point to some variation of purple as the most beautiful complement to green eyes, but there are actually many ways to make your pretty green eyes stand out. Take a peek below at some of our favorite makeup products for green eyes that are sure to make everyone around you green -- with envy!
If you're really looking to make your eyes pop you can try blending a deep plum around your eyes then dotting a brighter purple just above the iris. If you aren't someone who loves the idea of putting purple undertones on your face, opt for browns and reds instead. For green eyes it can be nice to choose a shadow that seems neutral from a distance, but has bright red, golds, or purple undertones closer up.

Choose a slate, gray, or charcoal liner when heading to the office or out during the day. A black liner can look very severe against light green eyes (and quite hard to pull off as a daytime look.) Gray and charcoal provide a less overpowering, more casual alternative. Black liner can also have a flattening effect when with comes to green eyes. Instead of reaching for black try a brown or warm gold shade to give a softer look and highlight the varying tones in your irises.
Per usual purples, plums, reds and even pinks can have an amazing effect on green eyes. Keep the color wheel in mind when choosing makeup that complements your eye color. Pinks and reds are directly opposite darker green, with purples and plums next to them opposite to lighter greens. Looking at a color wheel is an easy way to see what really is complementary for you.

Top off your green eye look with some beautiful lashes. A volumizing mascara can really help border and highlight your light green eyes. A midnight black mascara could be a great touch for a night on the town, while a brown or burnt shade might be better for a daytime look. If you have lighter skin try a purple or teal mascara. For darker skin, try purple, medium brown, or mauve.
