It’s no secret the Influenster community loves scoring the latest and greatest products across every category you can think of, but buying the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list can quickly add up. Keep more of your hard-earned cash by shopping smarter with these five apps that help you save money while you shop.

Keep reading to learn more about each of these apps and tools that will help you save money all year long.

Honey

Have you ever purchased an item online, and, moments after confirming your order, you find it on another site even cheaper? Honey can solve that problem. By adding this handy extension to your browser, you’re just steps away from finding whatever product is in your cart for the lowest available price. It’s that easy!

Rakuten

The only thing better than getting a great discount is receiving cash back for your purchases. Rakuten allows you to do just that. Comprised of over 2,500 big retailers (that you probably already shop), Rakuten enables you to earn cash back by shopping on Rakuten.com, in the Rakuten app, or by adding the Rakuten extension to your browser.

Digit

Holiday shopping or not, saving money (no matter how little) is important and adds up. If you’re not the best at saving, apps like Digit help you save without thinking about it. When you link your checking account to Digit, the app automatically adds money to an FDIC-insured account (in the app) by pulling small, unnoticeable amounts of money from your linked checkings as you spend. Don’t be alarmed—you don’t ever have to worry about Digit over-drafting your account because it will only save what you can afford.

Qapital

Another great app to try to save while you spend is Qapital. As you shop using your linked account, Qapital saves small amounts of money that in time will help your rainy-day money, aka savings, grow.

PayPal

You may know PayPal as a convenient way to receive and send payments, but did you know that the company recently launched "Pay in 4," a way to split your online purchase into four interest-free installments? Yup! Millions of retailers are shoppable with PayPal’s "Pay in 4" option.
