The New Ben & Jerry's Cereal Ice Cream Is All We Want To Wake Up To
Just in time for National Cereal Day...
Happy National Cereal Day! Geez, there's a day for just about anything nowadays, right? But hey, we're all for celebrating this concept just about every single day of the year. Especially if that means Ben & Jerry's is involved. Oh yeah–did we mention they've released three new flavors starring some of your fave cereals? It's officially starting today and we think it might just be their best launch yet.
Cereal Splashbacks are three cereal-inspired flavors that pay tribute to some of the most nostalgic cereal. The flavors are called: Fruit Loot, Cocoa Loco, and Frozen Flakes—we'll give you three guesses as to the inspo behind each. Each flavor is made with a cereal milk ice cream and contains real cereal pieces. Like the milk at the bottom of the cereal bowl in frozen form, these ice creams are creamy, sweet, and semi-crunchy. Here's the skinny on what each one of them tastes like...
This fruity flavor tastes exactly like a big bowl of Fruit Loops. All its lacking is an extra cup of cereal to crush atop for even more flava-flave.
This crunchy cocoa ice cream has the slightest malt flavor. Think Whoppers mixed into creamy frozen ice cream! Yum.
This one's for the Frosted Flakes die-hards. This ice cream is incredibly sweet and refreshing with a slight taste of the sugary corn cereal we all know and love.
Wait but there's a catch–these flavors won't be available in grocery stores, but only at Ben & Jerry's scoop shops starting on March 7.
