We're all for that budget beauty. So when we learned of Beauty Pie, a revolutionary beauty brand that's cutting out the middle man and offering products at factory prices i.e. a few bucks, we were intrigued. And now we have even more reason to be into the barrier-breaking brand: they dropped skincare.
For those who don't know, Beauty Pie is a six-month-old brand founded by Marcia Kilgore (the founder of Bliss and Soap & Glory) that sells beauty products at factory cost. (Products are still produced in the same factories that make a lot of luxury, name-brand products!) The whole premise is to cut out the crazy markups we see with a lot of beauty brands and be as transparent as possible with pricing. To buy, you either subscribe to a $10 monthly membership fee or pay for products at their standard marked up price, which can be pretty darn high. The brand first started with makeup and now is dabbling in skincare.
Starting at the end of May, Beauty Pie started to drop skincare and now has added more products so the line consists of 11 products total including anti-aging creams, facial serums, clay masks, etc. Prices range from $5.21 for a cleanser to $13.11 for a sleeping mask, so yeah, they're very affordable. (Prices reflect member subscription prices.) New launches that just hit the site include the $10 Jeju Overnight Moisture Superinfusion, which is actually retail valued at $78!
