Back to School: The Way Moms Will Shop for School Lunches in 2015
With summer coming to a close, we can’t help but think about back to school shopping. Although pencils, calculators, and notebooks are at the forefront of many minds, we can’t stop dreaming about all of the fun lunches our Influenster moms will pack this fall. As review-savvy shoppers, we wondered - what will go in their lunch boxes day after day? How will they stock up on these goodies? What determines a snack as a healthy one to pack?
To find out, we surveyed over 5,000 Influenster moms (with an average age of 30) what really matters when packing a school lunch!
With social media platforms like Pinterest and YouTube, not to mention cooking shows like MasterChef Junior, moms have a seemingly infinite wealth of inspiration. From mini-sized popcorn bags to heart shaped PB&J’s, these moms want to focus on not only making lunch a fun and affordable endeavor, but most importantly a nutritious one!
Interestingly enough, although these millenial moms are amongst the most digitally-connected generation of mothers to date, most of them still choose to shop for their food the old-school way - pushing carts down shopping aisles!
So, want to get into the mind of a mom on a mission at the grocery store?
