A College Girl's Essentials
I hope everyone’s first few months of college have been as good as mine! New classes, new friends, new clubs—what’s not to love?! Oh right, those 8 a.m. classes. After the excitement about the new aspects of college has worn off (which is about now), waking up on time, cleaning up, and other small things we didn’t think about before can get pretty tiring. Check out the items I use to make my day run a little more smoothly on campus.
Coming in at #1 on Influenster in water filters, the Brita pitcher gives easy access to clean water. It fits perfectly in a dorm fridge, is a great (a.k.a cheaper) substitute for bottled water.
Yes, a phone can be used as an alarm clock, but having a standalone alarm ensures that you make it to class on time even if your phone dies.
A small vacuum is always great, especially when there is limited space to store one. It’s important to keep your room crumb free and periodically vacuum to keep dust away.
Rubbermaid Laundry Basket
Having a laundry basket makes it much easier to transport dirty and clean clothes to the laundry room, especially if the laundry room is a 10-minute walk from the dorm. This shape of this one makes it easy to carry and it’s durable enough to last you several semesters.
Skullcandy Jib Earbuds
Make sure to always carry a pair of earbuds to cancel out unwanted noise. A great time to listen to music and unwind is while walking between classes or while riding the transit.
