8 Red Lipsticks for Fall
Wahoo, fall is in sight! Lately I have been really gravitating toward red lips- not my usual bag, but with my obsession with the Becca Ombre Nudes palette, red just goes with it. Here are my picks, from budget to a little more pricey.
Revlon Really Red ($6)- This is a tomato-red matte lipstick. It is supposedly a dupe for MAC Russian Red, but I don’t have that so I can’t compare. This one is an affordable lipstick and the quality is fantastic.
NARS Cruella Velvet Matte lip pencil ($25)- HG red lip. Rich, blood red. Review here.
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna lipstick ($16)- This is a bright frosty red with sparkle. Review here.
MAC Viva Glam Rihanna lip glass ($15)- Same shade as above, only in lipglass form. These two look fantastic paired together, and the money goes to help people with AIDS.
L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in Scarlet Concerto ($8)- I love these lippies. They’re super glossy, last a long time, and are comfortable to wear. Scarlet Concerto is a deep burgundy red.
MAC Ruby Woo ($16)- This is one of the retro-matte lipsticks, so it is drier than the regular matte variety, but stays put for hours. Ruby Woo is a classic! Review here.
Revlon Colorburst gloss in Fire ($8)- This is a super opaque red lip gloss. If you want a vibrant red at an affordable price point, this is one to check out!
Urban Decay Revolution lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace ($22)- This is a limited edition lipstick from Urban Decay’s Pulp Fiction collection. It is so beautiful! It’s a fantastic mix of blood red and a bright red. Get this one before it’s gone!
