This '70s Makeup Look Is Making a Comeback
Groovy chicks only
Today's Throwback Thursday look is far out. Re-create this iconic Diana Ross '70s makeup look with just a few easy steps. Watch the tutorial above and check out the steps below for the products you'll need to get started. Can you dig it?
Step 1—Eyeshadow: Jenny used Marc Jacobs Coconut Highlighter as an eyeshadow base. Apply it along your upper and lower lash line to reflect light and highlight your eyes. Then apply a thick line of purple eyeshadow at the base of your lashes. Next, use a matte tan shade for above your crease. We love the purple and tan in Maybelline's The City Mini palette.

Step 2—Eyeliner: Line your lower waterline with bright blue liquid liner, then draw another line of it beneath the one you just drew. Diana Ross wore her liner nice and thick! To make the blue really pop and to give it a 2D feel, outline the color with a dark brown or black liner.
Step 3—Lashes: Apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Once they're dry, lay your false lashes on top of your natural lashes and press into place. Add a few individual lashes to your bottom lash line. Space them out for some '70s drama.
Step 3—Bronzer: Get a sun-kissed glow by dusting your cheeks, forehead, and nose with bronzer.
Step 4—Lips: Top off your look with some creamy peach gloss or a liquid lipstick.
And that's it! What do you think of this look? Let us know what you'd like to see in our next Throwback Thursday DIY!
