5 Passover Friendly Desserts

Share Tweet

For all the Jews out there, today is your last day to enjoy the beauty of bread. (Eat all the carbs now before the sun sets!) For all the gentiles, tonight is the first night of Passover, which means seders, family, and lots of unleavened bread. If you didn't already know, the reason Jews eat only Matzah and unleavened bread for Passover is because during the Exodus from Egypt, our ancestors were in such a rush to escape the pharoah they didn't have time to allow their bread to rise.

Many of my non-jewish friends have a weird love for Matzah (which I don't understand but whatever), and always ask how they can incorporate Matzah into their lives. I usually respond, "Well, since the exdous takes place before Jesus or Mohammed's birth, some of your ancestors may have been Jews way back when, so you have the right to enjoy Matzah as much as the rest of us!"

So, in the spirit of inclusion, check out these 5 Passover friendly dessert recipes to try out this weekend!
