5 Easter Egg Hunt Essentials
Happy Easter everyone! Want to know how you can hop your way into your kids hearts this year? Throw the best easter egg hunt they have ever seen! Check out these 5 easter essentials to help make your easter egg hunt memorable until next easter!
What Easter Egg hunt would be complete without egg decorating before you start the hunt? Or after? Or both! Get the kids in the mood to find those eggs by having a special arts and crafts session to stir the scavenger hunt jitters. If you really want to get into it, take one decorated egg from each child with their name on it and hide it with the other eggs. Whoever finds their own named egg during the hunt gets a special candy prize at the end! Perhaps a chocolate covered Peep? (My personal favorite easter treat)
This little gem saves you a bunch of time by having the easter eggs pre-filled with candy. If you're on a time crunch just buy a bunch of these and start hiding the eggs.
This may seem like a weird entry, but bear with me. As any verteran egg hunter knows, sometimes the plastic eggs you buy don't stay closed and your backyard is riddled with candy. (Not to mention the general hazard of children grabbing candy out of the eggs). A quick fix to ensure that your eggs stay closed it to put a sticker on the seal at opposite ends of the egg.
An obvious neccesity for any easter egg hunt. Make sure your basket is flexible but durable while you and your kids are rushing through bushes to find those eggs! I think wicker baskets are the best for easter egg hunts. Check it out here!
Every easter egg hunt needs a prize for the one with the most eggs! Go with a classic, an entire chocolate bunny!
