With the summer’s conclusion fast approaching, I often find myself daydreaming about all the wondrous places I still want to visit before the ice age once again commences. With school starting and work picking up again, what better time to embark on a fun trip than Labor Day Weekend?! So, invite your friends, family, or significant other and visit one of these breathtaking places. It’ll be a trip to never forget!

Big Sur

With its 90 mile coastline, Big Sur is one of my favorite places in the United States. Rent a car (preferably a pink convertible), blast some feel-good music and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Make sure to bring food, refreshing drinks and a blanket for a cute picnic on one of the cliffs!

Yosemite National Park

Out of the numerous national parks, Yosemite is my all-time favorite. Breathless views, clear waters, and cute animals – Yosemite has it all!

Cape Cod

While I have never made to Cape Cod, I have heard amazing things about it. After chilling on the beach, I’d love to go sightseeing and eat some delicious fresh shellfish. Oh, and why not take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard (Has this been named after Martha Stewart? Please enlighten me!)

Florida Keys

Don’t like the hassle of flying out to the Caribbean but still looking for that exotic feel? Florida Keys is the way to go! Spending your Labor Day Weekend here will surely relax you enough to power through the rest of the year!

Charleston, SC

This historic and idyllic town in South Carolina is truly something else! Not only is the scenery wonderful, the many boutiques in Downtown Charleston has plenty in store (pun intended) for those shopaholics among us.

I realize we cannot make it to all of these places, but keep them in mind for your future vacays!

If you are planning on going to one of these places, please tell us about your experience!
