Split ends, color damage, and dullness are all signs of over-worked hair. Luckily for you, summer is the time to let your hair down…so to speak. These hot three months are a time to give your flat iron a rest and embrace natural locks. So, the question remains - do you have healthy hair habits? Find out below!

 

1. You invest in good brushes.

Believe it or not, your brush plays a big part in the health of your hair. Brushing too rigorously when your hair is too damp or dry actually makes it more susceptible to breakage. There are a multitude of brush options that offer different benefits. The best options out there are “wet” shower brushes, wide tooth combs, and boar brushes. 2. You use a deep conditioner weekly.
