One of the few products I'll actually use outside of my obsession with Buxom and Urban Decay glosses. This color is amazing and versatile, the price is ok, it smells nice, and the texture is good (not too tacky, not too sticky). It does the job and doesn't dry my lips out. I'd get this one again and recommend to others. Maverick is a staple shade.
The texture on these is like BUTTER! So creamy and beautifully pigmented! The price for a single isn't going to break the bank, and they come in a wide variety of colors. Nyx individual shadows are a good value for the price point and they deliver in color payout and blendability. Available at Ulta, Target, and other retailers. Recommended.
Boudoir Eyes is a beautiful little palette encased in super cute packaging. The tin is durable and really nice to work with. The shadows themselves are beautifully colored, and swatch well. With application there is a bit of kick up, so be careful of how much you put on the brush. Better to build than have fallout! At $36, the price point is slightly lower for a 9-shadow palette than some other brands would set. I'd say over all it's a solid release and worth the purchase, particularly if you go for plums and taupes in your eyeshadow looks. Worth it.
I find Milani quality to be ok, but this particular palette was difficult to work with. Used without the base shade and with another brand of primer these shadows work A LOT better. With the base shade I found them to be lumpy and they didn't blend well. If you're going to purchase this product, take note of this and just use your favorite primer with the shadow shades, and leave the base shade alone. The price point is great, and as always Milani is on point with their packaging. Worth the experiment, but I hardly ever reach for them.
I bought this soon after it came out, hoping to find a superior dupe for Better Than Sex from Too Faced. What I found was that while it was indeed a great dupe, it didn't really work all that much better than the original it sought to emulate. The packaging is adorable, much like its template, but even at $10 I don't find this mascara to be particularly worth the trouble. It clumps and just doesn't achieve the look I like.
UD's Perversion mascara is my absolute favorite formula for daytime looks! I use it on the top lashes only, so I can't speak to whether or not it smudges. On top, it stays put beautifully and doesn't clump, smear, or make lashes cling together in that horrid spider-legs look. Smooth, an easy application, and it looks lovely. Highly recommended! I also love that you can get a travel size for half the price. Mascara is one of those products that you really have to be careful about rotating out regularly, so buying the smaller size works wonderfully for getting the most out of a tube before it goes bad.
I'm pretty picky with my mascaras, and if a formula gives spider lashes, clumps, flakes, or is otherwise inconvenient, it's a no-go for me. Others swear by this particular formula and I'm glad it works for them (by all means, you should Always Try the product to see if it works for You!), but for me this mascara was a dud. Definitely not better than sex!!
I bought a couple of these to go with the Naked 2 and 3 palettes I'd gotten, but found that as with some other prestige brands, this formula is just too squishy for my liking. The colors are beautiful and glide on smoothly, but they clump in my lashes and are just too difficult to work with. I think with an eyeliner brush they are easier to apply, but that is time consuming, considering that you have to try and draw on the brush and then transfer it to your eye. There are just better methods out there than this. I love Urban Decay as a brand, but just can't work with their eyeliners.
A decent product, but I don't really find that I can work with eye pencils that have such a soft, gel-like texture. I need something I can really draw with, a solid kohl pencil. The colors on these are amazing, but I think that for the price point, the amount of product that you get, and the amount you end up wasting from errors and clumping, it isn't really worth it for me. Also, the twist-up packaging is fickle and may not work at all on some products. Not really a win with this one.
Full-On Lip Cream is the shimmer-less sister of the Full-On Lip Polish. Aside from the difference in finish, the product is exactly the same as the Lip Polish, and it does just as excellent a job! I reach for these creamy shades when the look I'm going for doesn't call for a shimmery lip. The shine is still high impact, but the color is smooth and uniform, without the glitter. Pricey at $20, but it does such an amazing job that the splurge is well worth the expense. I'd purchase again and again (and have).
