This conditions my hair without leaving it greasy or weighed down. It actually adds volume, which is nice, but it's not a huge difference. My hair is soft and shiny after, and it makes up for some of the moisture that I lose while using the EverPure Volume Shampoo. It smells really nice, also like floral baby powder. It's also vegan, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and safe for color treated hair, which is great.
I received this through Influenster for free. It does add volume to my hair. It's not a shocking amount, but it's definitely noticeable. It forms a rich lather (which is unusual for a sulfate-free shampoo), so you don't have to use much. It has a nice smell, kinda like floral baby powder. I did find that it can dry my hair out a bit, but it doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it greasy. I like that it's vegan, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and safe for color treated hair.
I received 3 of these from Infulenster and they are so right. All 3 colors are killer. TOTALLY colors I would normally have trouble picking between. I also love the silver tubes and that each lipstick has a B stamped into it, which is cool.
These are really highly pigmented, so just a quick swipe gives a huge color payoff. All 3 of the colors really pop. They are the perfect shades for me. They are also really long lasting. I received Pepper, which is a light mauve-y color; Gazpacho, which is a bright, beautiful red; and Beetroot, which is a dark vampy color, but definitely not too dark (it’s just right for me). Each color suits my style so well, so I think they are pretty universal. I LOVE them and wear them all the time, but Pepper is the one I wear most frequently because it’s just the perfect off-nude for me.
They are extremely moisturizing and never dry out my lips, even after a full day of wearing lipstick. Lipstick almost always dries out my lips, so this is really unusual. I also love the flavor of these, they are very citrusy and have none of that yucky lipstick flavor that we all know. They do tend to bleed a bit, so I recommend using a lip liner with these.
They are soft and creamy. They are created by hand and contain vitamins, nutrients, omega oils, fresh pressed fruit, and 12 essential oils, so they are actually good for your lips. They are also certified gluten-free and have no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, so I feel good about using them.
This is a great mascara, but it’s not my favorite. The packaging is beautiful and because it has a sort of octagon shape to the bottle, it’s easy to hold the wand and use it daily. The brush is also really nice, with the perfect shape and length. But considering it’s from Marc Jacobs, I thought it was going to blow my mind and I definitely like my usual Benefit mascara better.
I’ve been using this mascara for awhile now and would say it is darker and wetter than most mascaras, so it can smear easily if you don’t give it time to dry. I love how dark it is, it’s definitely the blackest black, which I like. It is definitely lengthening and thickening, but I don’t find that it curls my lashes much, so I make sure to curl them first with my eyelash curler.
It glides on nicely and isn’t clumping at all, so you can add lots of layers and make it more dramatic. It also layers really well under or over another mascara, so you can always layer it with another mascara for more drama. Because the color is so dark, it gives the illusion of eyeliner around the lash line.
I’ve noticed that over the last month, it hasn’t started clumping up and drying up in the container like most other mascaras. You can always put a few drops of eye drops into dried out mascara, but it’s nice that this one doesn’t have that problem at all. This promises to provide really dramatic results, like false lashes could give you, and I don’t find that that’s the case for me. Sure, my lashes look great, it’s a great mascara, but it doesn’t give me the look of falsies or “1800% more volume”.
This duo is designed to renew very damaged, over processed hair. My hair is very dry and damaged right now from bleaching, etc. so I needed something like this, designed for really damaged hair. You use the conditioner first and the shampoo afterwards. I know it sounds crazy, but it works. The conditioner wraps your hair in fiber and prepares it for the shampoo, so your hair won't dry out further when you wash it. Basically, you're adding moisture at every stage.
The duo definitely makes my hair feel thicker, softer, and more manageable. You don't NEED conditioner after using this, but I noticed that when I do apply about half the conditioner I usually do to the bottom half of my hair, it is shinier afterwards. This also keeps my hair looking better for longer in between washes. I also lose less hair in the shower when I use this, so triple whammy for improving my hair.
Every time I use this duo, I notice a difference immediately afterwards. I have found it best to still use a small amount of a different conditioner at the very end (like half of what I normally use). The reverse care system really works for me. I also love the smell and feel of the product and the packaging. And the blue packaging is right up my alley. Both products have a strong scent, which is very perfume-y, and I love, love, love the smells.
The conditioner is like a glue almost. It's very thick and gummy, totally different than the products I'm used to using. The shampoo feels more like a conditioner than a shampoo. It's very thick and doesn't lather. They are both totally different from anything else I've used. They both also have some really impressive ingredients, like the sap from the Myrothamnus Flabellifolia plant...whoa.
These feel very light and look extremely natural. Almost to the point that they are slightly more dramatic than mascara. I tried using the eyelash glue that comes with the lashes and I definitely prefer my standard Ardell lash glue. I also used the eyelash applicator that came in one of my past Influenster boxes. I always use that, although tweezers will also work in a pinch.
This oil-free formula is supposed to cut down on shine, reduce your pore size, and leave your skin looking velvety smooth and shine-free. It did just that and more.
This is beyond lightweight. It’s like BB cream, but better. It really is whipped and applies like a dream. It’s never oily or heavy and is easy to remove with a good makeup remover or face wash. Really, you could use your fingers, a brush, or a sponge to apply this because it’s like a whipped cream, but I still like using my Beauty Blender the best.
I have decent experience with foundation (especially from my acne-ridden days) and this is definitely the best foundation I’ve tried. I also feel like applying foundation can be difficult, especially for starters, but this is a breeze. It’s basically like putting BB cream on.
I received these in two of my subscription boxes and actually wasn’t wild about them. It works well at pulling the eyelids up to get to the full eyelash, but this actually took me more time to use than if I had just freehanded my mascara and felt like backtracking. I will probably use these instead when I am applying eyeshadow to help catch any fallout. However, I would never actually buy these for myself.
This is unique because it is designed to protect you from sweat caused by heat, movement, AND stress. It has a “Serene Citrus” scent that smells SO good.
Does It Work?
This really does work to prevent sweat and I felt that it worked better than my current deodorant, but there were some things that I wasn’t so crazy about. After the black shirt test, I realized that this is not a clear deodorant, so it left white streaks on my clothes. It also proved to be somewhat difficult to wash off in the shower.
Would I Buy It?
I would not buy this deodorant going forward because I prefer spray deodorants or completely clear and undetectable deodorant. However, the smell is intoxicating so I have found myself reaching for this instead of my standard deodorant.
