I used this foundation exclusively for almost 10 years. It’s really great if you have oily skin. Coverage is buildable from light to full coverage and it does a good job covering imperfections and redness. I still keep this foundation in rotation with my liquid ones.
I know a lot of people like this eye primer, but this stuff almost ruined my eyelids. It dried them out to the point that skin was flaking off in large sheets on a daily basis. I immediately stopped using it after a couple of days, but the problem persisted for several months. I tried every type of eye cream and heavy moisturizer I could find to try to fix the flaky skin but nothing worked. It took using a medicated ointment from my mom’s dermatologist. It cleared up the problem within just a couple of days. I have a friend who had a very similar experience with this eye primer so I know it is not just me.
This foundation surprised me. I have oily/combo skin and it plays very well with it. It has good coverage (solid medium with one layer and you can build to full without it looking cakey). It has a natural finish, which you can make more matte with setting powder if you desire. It lasts all day.
If you have oily or combo skin, this moisturizer is great. It’s a gel and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated but not feeling greasy and it seems to gel control oil as well. It does have a somewhat strong citrus scent but it goes away once applied.
This is a pretty shade but it just unfortunately looks odd on me. It's too cool for my skin tone and it washes me out/makes me look sick. The color is pigmented and applies easy. It takes awhile to dry down. It wears ok for a few hours before it starts feeling uncomfortable. Wears off somewhat evenly.
I hemmed & hawed for a year over purchasing this palette. I finally decided to pull the trigger and I am glad I did. I love the warm tones of the shadows. There's some kickup/fallout, but for me that is a non-issue as I do my eye makeup first. The shadows are very pigmented and easy to work with/blend. I have created several different looks using this palette and have been very pleased how each of them have turned out.
First off, the colors are very pretty. Lover is a mauve pink and Pioneer is a red.
They have a scent, which to me smells just like Red Vines licorice, which I personally love. If you're sensitive to scents though, you might not like this.
They are very pigmented and apply opaque with just one swipe. The formula is on the thicker side and it's also a drier formula compared to some liquid lipsticks. They take a few minutes to fully dry down. They do dry Matte but they retain a sticky/tacky feeling, which just felt weird.
If you're not eating/drinking, you can get several hours of wear out of them. I drank a glass of water while wearing Pioneer and by the time I was finished, the Coke had completely worn off in the middle of my lips. That was disappointing. Lover seems to wear off more evenly and isn't as noticeable since it's almost a "my lips but better" type shade on me.
Removing at the end of the day is easy enough. You just need some millar water or an oil based makeup remover and they come off without any hard scrubbing needed.
Overall, these are ok but not the best.
These were sent to me complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
This liner is pretty decent but it does have a learning curve. You need to be careful when squeezing product from the tube as it can come out fast. The brush it comes with is ok but I prefer using my usual angled liner brush. This liner has good pigment and applies nice without any tugging. It dries to a mainly matte finish and it lasts on me all day without smudging or smearing. It comes off easy at the day with a makeup wipe, micellar water or makeup remover/face cleanser.
