Fashion Forward, Make-up Maven, Decorating Dare Devil, Crochet Crazy, Obsessive Organizing, Fishing Fanatic, Social Savvy married mother of two. I currently reside in picturesque Western Kentucky. Part of the Sandwich Generation, I reside with my parents, brother, husband and two children, dog Lucy and three cats: Molly, Moustache and BooBoo. Round these parts I'm the Captain of this crazy cruise!
My days are filled with caring for all the people and pets aboard the ship. Trying to keep everyone and myself happy is challenging but also rewarding. I am always looking for ways to improve my never ending tasks.
I currently work part-time at a restaurant as a cashier/hostess. Prior to coming to Kentucky I worked full time as a Worker's Compensation Claims Adjuster. So yes it's quite a change, but still fulfilling. The people that I work with and customers that I get to meet 4 days a week are truly part of my life experience.
I did go to college, but was unable to finish. One day, I plan to finish my degree in Business and perhaps pursue a degree in Human Resources. My family needs me right now so working part-time is advantageous.
I should be the poster child for The Ford Focus. I purchased my Focus in 2005, brand new. I have put every mile on it myself. She (Freda the ford focus) currently has over 243,000 miles respectively and she is still running great. Let me give you a little back round on our time together. I almost totaled my Focus maybe a month or two after I first purchased the car. I was on my way to work in the snow, unfortunately I hit a patch of snow and off i went into a guard rail. I have hit 2 deer, a dog, and numerous smaller animals over the years (I live in the country) a semi truck tire and numerous other things over time including other cars (just fender benders) and horrible deep pot holes. Freda has no problem driving away from any of these hits. She never leaves me stranded. I do know that at this point it is time to retire my ford focus, but I am thoroughly impressed that she is still raring to go. Just over Christmas, my family and I went on an 8 hour road trip we had absolutely no problems mechanically speaking at least, lol. After owning a Ford Focus for 11 plus years I can confidently and safely say this vehicle has been reliable, dependable, great on gas, and has even saved my life a time or two. When they say built Ford Tough they ain't lying!
The packaging is what I believe makes this refreshing and crisp tasting water so pricey. My 11 yr old son and his friends beg for it if they are with me at the store. Definitely worth the price if it makes my boy want to drink water!!!
Expensive, but worth it! This is a very smooth tequila which doesn't take your breath away as some of the other brands do. If you purchase the darker colored tequila, try it with a slice of orange and cinnamon, instead of the lime and salt!
My 11 yr old son suffers from eczema. His doctor has given me two different prescriptions to use on his skin when it is acting up. One of the ingredients in the RX is Formaldehyde. One of the lotions is for his facial skin and the other is for the rest of his body. Both come in the same exact tube, same color. If the wrong lotion is used on his face it can burn him. I find this absolutely ridiculous that a lotion which is suppose to help his delicate skin can cause potential burns...therefore, after doing a lot of research on eczema I thought the best way to beat it would be preemptive. Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring lotion has become a very imperative part of our regimen. I have my son take a luke warm shower, then apply the lotion all over him daily. Unfortunately we still have flare ups, but not as often as before which means we don't have to use that horrible prescribed lotion as often.
This was the first movie I ever seen which was directed by Quentin Terrintino. I was absolutely hooked as each scene in the movie was almost like a puzzle piece. Just like a puzzle, towards the end you finally understand aka can see, the whole picture.
The story line was funny, edgy and full of drama. It is on my top ten movie list. Not to mention, when the movie came out on DVD, I had a copy of it. Picture this, I am 9 months pregnant with a planned and might I add scheduled C-section. It's about 11:00 at night and I am watching the movie with my mom, who had come to stay with me and my family to await the arrival of baby #2. About half way into the movie, I stand up and my water breaks! I wasn't suppose to go to the hospital for another couple of days. Remember, this is a planned C-section. Long story short, I went into labor and was rushed to the hospital. We welcomed our son, Ricardo Anthony into the world in the wee hours of the morning.
As you can see, I have a special connection to this movie, one that I will never forget!
