Review for Max Green Alchemy Scalp Rescue Shampoo 8.8 oz - 1 month, 1 week ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
I’ll preface this review by saying that I rarely use one shampoo for a long time. I think it’s always a good idea to rotate out shampoos because as our scalps and hair always change, so do their needs. Anyways, I went from using the 100% Pure Burdock & Neem Healthy Scalp Shampoo to this. Not that I didn’t like 100% Pures shampoo, but my scalp and hair started getting used to it and needed some new nutrients and regimen! I’ve been using this shampoo for a month together with SheaMoisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Conditioner and absolutely love what this pairing is doing for my hair: supple, soft, clean without that super dry clean feeling, and smells wonderful. Yes, this bottle is pricier than your average shampoo but it lasts a while and I don’t shampoo my hair that often. Plus, I think it’s worth it to spend a little extra on the health of your scalp and hair.

Review for MealPal - 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Foodie Expert Level 2
So far I've been a member of MealPal for a day and I am sold! I love the service. I work in downtown Manhattan and there are so many awesome restaurants to choose lunch from. Their platform is easy to use and the choices by me have so much range that you probably won't get sick of the options for a while. The portion I got today was large. I save so much time during lunch with MealPal and highly recommend it!

Review for Alter Eco Organic Chocolate Dark Blackout - 6 months ago
Love this dark chocolate for not being too fruity and having a nice balance of nuttiness and “roastedness”. Also a company with a great social mission. Purchased this at Whole Foods.

Review for Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout 550ML - 6 months, 1 week ago
Not as good as a Guinness extra stout but this beer is a safe and smooth stout. Fun fact: They use well water to make this beer.

Review for Herbalist & Alchemist, Blueberry Solid Extract 6 oz - 6 months, 1 week ago
This blueberry solid is a great product for those with circulatory issues or anyone who needs an extra boost of antioxidants or flavonoids. I especially like to have this on hand during the winter when my extremities get cold. Herbalists & Alchemists creates high quality & excellent products and I am so glad they concentrated blueberry into this solid.

Herbalists and alchemists makes great tinctures. The quality of this skullcap tincture is no exception. Although I am guilty of forgetting to take this on a regular basis, which is what you need to do with nervines like skullcap, I do feel that it helps me chill out and be less tense. On some occasions, it does make me fall asleep easier.
Review for Guinness® Extra Stout - 6 months, 2 weeks ago
This is my favorite beer. As a huge fan of stouts, this is a classic that has a really rich, dark, and robust flavor. This pairs well with savory breakfast meals like eggs. If you get a chance, go to Dublin to try it closer to the source. That was life changing and was what turned me onto beer. Although it may be a little too heavy for the summer, I find it really comforting to have a Guinness year round! My friend has also been telling me that Guinness is good for you because it has a lots of B vitamins :).

Review for Guerisson 9 Complex Cream - 6 months, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
I am not sold on this product yet. I have been using it on and off for about 3 weeks and the first thing I noticed is that the fragrance is so strong. It is definitely moisturizing and hydrating and my mom likes it and has noticed improved and more hydrated skin from using this. The reason I am not sold is because for all of the good stuff in this cream from gotu kola extract to horse oil to chamomile extract, there seems to be other not so good ingredients like fragrance and siloxanes.
Review for Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream - 7 months, 3 weeks ago

I actually use this as a hand salve. I love the consistency, aroma, and lightness of this product. The smell is not overpowering and is very light and refreshing. Even though it may seem like this would be a heavy product, it doesn't leave your hands oily and settles in well. Of course, the ingredients are clean as well as an added bonus and the tin makes this super convenient to carry around.

I love this tea. It is perfect for winter when you want something comforting. This is a roasted green tea that is robust and earthy and soothing. Pairs perfectly with asian dishes and oily dishes. Wouldn't recommend adding sugar or milk to this as it's perfect on its own as a clean flavor.
