I have always been a big fan of Argon oil and its many uses. I knew about hair and skin but the back of this bottle also mentioned nails which I hadn't thought of.
I am so excited to have such a large bottle in my possession. I have very long hair so keeping it healthy is a priority of mine. I will probably be using it more for hair than for skin just because I'm sensitive to oils on my face but I know it works great on knees and elbows for added moisturization. I'll probably use it as a nail conditioner once a week.
The pump on the product is great. One pump gives about a dime sized when it flattens out in your hand. The oil is not as oily as you would think. I would consider more on the dry side because it doesn't leave your hands super greasy and unusable after using the product. The oil smells wonderful too. I would love for my hair to always smell like this oil. It's like a soft warm vanilla scent that is not at all overpowering for distracting from any other scent. It's just very pleasant.
As soon as I opened the box. I put some on my hair and my split ends looked better instantly. I used this one dry hair and it didn't make it look greasy or like I just rubbed oil on it. It made it look more shiny and healthy. I will definitely be using this whole bottle up and it will take me forever since it is such a large quantity.
I am so excited to have healthier, shinier hair thanks to this product!
I have been diffusing essential oils so much lately. Ans it has really been helping my headaches. Especially by using spearmint oil and peppermint oil.
Spearmint oil has a lot of uses to help encourage health benefits:
Aromatherapy oil: Because of its menthol content, spearmint oil is often used in aromatherapy to help treat fatigue, headaches, migraines, nervousness, and even digestive problems. Food ingredient – Oil of spearmint is sometimes added to baked goods, frozen dairy, meats, beverages, and chewing gum. Note, however, that you are better off consuming whole, raw foods than these processed ones. Fragrance – This essential oil is added to certain types of perfume. It is commonly mixed with other herbs like jasmine, lavender, bergamot, and sandalwood. Ingredient in pharmaceutical products – It is often added to tooth powders, gargles, and toothpastes. Disinfectant – Spearmint oil can be used to treat internal and external infections, including scabies, dermatitis, syphilis, and other transmittable conditions. Bath oil – When added to bath water, spearmint oil can induce relaxation and can cool you off by reducing your body temperature. Massage oil – With its antispasmodic properties, spearmint oil can help relieve muscle pain and even abdominal pain due to menstruation. Insecticide – This oil can ward off mosquitoes and other insects. It is often added to insect repellents, creams, mats, and fumigants.
Spearmint can also be used as the following:
Because spearmint oil has antiseptic properties, it can protect wounds and ulcers from infection and even help them heal faster. It can help treat sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), such as gonorrhea and syphilis. It can help treat internal wounds and infections in the stomach and intestines. Help relax nerves and muscle spasms due to its menthol content Let excessive gas pass naturally from your stomach and intestines Cure headaches and stress-related neural problems Address menstrual problems, such as irregular periods, obstructed menses, and early menopause as it induces the secretion of the hormone estrogen Stimulate nerves and brain function, as well as blood circulation Treat common respiratory problems, such as colds, nasal congestion, asthma, and flu
On top of all these great uses it makes my house smell heavenly when diffusing it.
I have very oily skin so face masks are part of my daily routine. This rose colored mask is heavily fragranced but smells good. It is gritty to the touch so when you are rubbing it on your face you are actually exfoliating your skin. The mask dries like normal but doesn't leave your skin dried out after you remove the mask. When washing it off, the microbeads exfoilate the skin. With this mask you get multiple benefits of exfoliation which will help clean out pores and reduce the size of your pores. Although nothing will ever permanently reduce the size of pores, clear pores appear smaller and less detectable on the skin. The mask wipes off much easier than others i have used before. The skin isn't overly taut and dry feeling after washing it off.
Overall I really like using this mask and will continue to use it a couple times a week to help perfect my skin.
I received this product for free from Loreal for my honest, unbiased opinion. I have no ties to the company and want you, as a consumer, to have enough confidence in my review so that you can make an informed decision on whether this is right for you.
