I wasn't expecting much since previous acne sticks I've used look ridiculous on top of a zit or blemish, but this one blew me out of the water. Even at 33 I get the occasional zit, and when I do it's generally bigger and worse than ever. The spot concealer not only covered the zit but blended in with the rest of my makeup flawlessly. I was honestly shocked. Even though I received this as a free product in exchange for my review, I plan on buying it over and over again in the future.
These were great as an addition to teriyaki meatballs that I made in the crockpot for a party. They were a perfect size to go with the cocktail meatballs and added just the right amount of sweetness to the dish. I only wish they was a little less syrup as it made everything pretty sticky.
I really enjoyed using the Garnier SkinActive Balancing Facial Mist with Green Tea, especially here in the winter in Wisconsin. I have combination skin but in the winter it gets pretty dry really quickly. This facial mist is nice and refreshing, smells great, and doesn't feel heavy when I apply it. It always works nicely as a kind of setting spray. It doesn't "hold" your makeup in place like a normal setting spray, but it does give a nice matte finish if applied over makeup.
All of these brushes are so soft which concerned me at first but they all work and blend beautifully! For the process they're great quality and I love the cheery color scheme that makes me smile whenever I go to use them. It's easy to spend a ton of money on brand name brushes but it feels like you aren't getting your money's worth with them when they start falling apart. These brushes have worked great and hold up fantastically through cleaning. This set is a total steal and I know I'll be using them for a long time!
For starters let me say that I've used a few different versions of shower foam and I really don't understand the purpose of this product. It never lathers well and I feel like I'm using twice as much product. I'm not really a fan of any shower foam that I've tried.
That being said I could only use the Caress version once before I threw it away. It has an EXTREMELY overpowering scent and it you have any sensitivities to smell you will not be able to use it. This one in particular was too old lady perfume-smelly to me. I had such a headache from it for a few hours and seriously considered showering again just to get the smell off of me.
I'll be sticking to regular body wash from now on.
I've been using Simple products for a long time and I love how, simple, they are. They do exactly what I'm looking for, nothing more, nothing less. I've been using the Micellar water as my nightly skin cleaning agent and absolutely love it. It takes off all my makeup and whatever dirt ended up on my face throughout the day. My face feels clean and even refreshed right before I go to bed. I love this product and for the price you can't beat it!
Full disclosure - I didn't get to wear this foundation as often as I had hoped to since the color wasn't a great match for my skin tone, at least during the winter when I lighten up a fair amount. That being said I did wear it around my house on the weekends for a few hours a couple of times just to see how well it held up and how my face felt after a few hours.
I was pleasantly surprised with how lightweight this foundation was. I'm normally a powder foundation girl as liquid foundations just feel too heavy and cakey. The Fit Me Dewy + Smooth went on pretty light and didn't seem to settle in any one location. I love that it has some sunscreen in it because you can never have too much in my opinion! My skin did stay a little sticky as it dried, but since I don't have much else to compare it to I'm not sure if it was any longer than normal for liquid foundation.
My skin looked moisturized even after a few hours and I definitely had a "dewy" glow without looking shiny or oily. I plan on purchasing this on my own in a shade that works for me because I feel like this will be a great foundation for the summer here in Wisconsin. A little SPF, a little moisturizer, and great, full coverage. Maybelline for the win!
This is the first primer I've ever used and I've got to say I'm pretty impressed! I'm not a big makeup person so buying something that goes on underneath my makeup (besides moisturizer) seemed like a waste of money to me. But this primer went on incredibly smooth, didn't feel sticky, and I really do feel like it extended the length of my makeup! I use powder foundation on a daily basis and using the primer first helped to smooth everything out without feeling incredibly weighed down. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it's the first primer I've used and I don't know if there's anything better out there. But I would definitely buy it again, especially for the price!
