I've been using Simple products for a long time and I love how, simple, they are. They do exactly what I'm looking for, nothing more, nothing less. I've been using the Micellar water as my nightly skin cleaning agent and absolutely love it. It takes off all my makeup and whatever dirt ended up on my face throughout the day. My face feels clean and even refreshed right before I go to bed. I love this product and for the price you can't beat it!
Full disclosure - I didn't get to wear this foundation as often as I had hoped to since the color wasn't a great match for my skin tone, at least during the winter when I lighten up a fair amount. That being said I did wear it around my house on the weekends for a few hours a couple of times just to see how well it held up and how my face felt after a few hours.
I was pleasantly surprised with how lightweight this foundation was. I'm normally a powder foundation girl as liquid foundations just feel too heavy and cakey. The Fit Me Dewy + Smooth went on pretty light and didn't seem to settle in any one location. I love that it has some sunscreen in it because you can never have too much in my opinion! My skin did stay a little sticky as it dried, but since I don't have much else to compare it to I'm not sure if it was any longer than normal for liquid foundation.
My skin looked moisturized even after a few hours and I definitely had a "dewy" glow without looking shiny or oily. I plan on purchasing this on my own in a shade that works for me because I feel like this will be a great foundation for the summer here in Wisconsin. A little SPF, a little moisturizer, and great, full coverage. Maybelline for the win!
This is the first primer I've ever used and I've got to say I'm pretty impressed! I'm not a big makeup person so buying something that goes on underneath my makeup (besides moisturizer) seemed like a waste of money to me. But this primer went on incredibly smooth, didn't feel sticky, and I really do feel like it extended the length of my makeup! I use powder foundation on a daily basis and using the primer first helped to smooth everything out without feeling incredibly weighed down. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because it's the first primer I've used and I don't know if there's anything better out there. But I would definitely buy it again, especially for the price!
I've been loving the matte lip trend lately as it feels like gloss in *so* 90s. I was especially interested in the matte metallics because it would add a bit of shine without it being glossy. And that's exactly what it did.
I don't think that either of the colors I received are going to be making their way into my normal lip color rotation, just because they're a little *too* much for everyday wear, but I can definitely see myself wearing them out and about and especially during the winter.
The formula goes on smoothly and doesn't cake. It also didn't leave my lips feeling dry at the end, and came off very easily with makeup remover. It did come off a little on cups and such throughout the day, but nothing more than normal lip products.
Give the Matte Metallics a try if you're looking to switch up your lip color game this winter!
haven't eaten a lot of protein bars in my time so I don't have a lot to compare it to to be honest. However, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I've definitely had worse and I've had a few protein bars that were better. That being said I liked the originality of the flavor. Peanut butter is a big ingredient for a lot of different brands of protein bars, and throwing in a little something extra like the jelly is a nice touch with adding too many calories or unnecessary ingredients. It is a little dry but I find that to be the case with most protein bars. Would I buy it myself? Maybe, but probably a different flavor.
30 Rock is one of the most underrated shows of all time. I've watched it over and over and over since it's landed on Netflix, and I'll continue to watch it until it no longer exists. Tina Fey is the perfect combination of lovable goofball and self-deprication that makes the characters even easier to relate to. While a lot of the show is topical and may eventually feel outdated, for now it's a fantastic blend of sarcasm, humor, and real life that we all need in our lives.
I don't get migraines often, but when I do they come on quick and knock me out for at least a day. I don't have a prescription for them because I don't get them all that often and was looking for an OTC alternative.
I'm not sure who invented the Excedrin Migraine, but they should get a Nobel Prize for doing so! This stuff is amazing and actually allows me to function like a halfway normal human even when suffering through a migraine. It works fast and you don't have to take too many of them to get relief. I keep this around regularly now!
We typically only feed our cat wet food once a week so as not to get her hooked on it and to track her weight a little better. We've been using the same brand wet food as the dry food we have and she seems to like it. When we gave her the Muse food she inhaled it pretty quickly. Not sure if that's because she genuinely liked it or just because it was different.
I liked that it had a fair amount of extra moisture in it, but at the same time it definitely gave her some noticeable digestive issues in her litter box the next day. Not sure if we'll switch over to this or not, but it's definitely an option!
This was a pretty good snack as a pick me up without making me feel sluggish or gross afterwards. The dark chocolate was prominent in my bar, so it may not be for you if you aren't a big fan. Though I'm not sure there's the same amount in each bar so it might be hit and miss. If they were a little cheaper I'd buy them all the time!
