Review for Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer - 1 month, 2 weeks ago

I really like this & I thought I wouldn’t. I have oily skin & large pores so a lot of products don’t work well for me. Whatever I do when I wear this, whatever magical concoction I have on my face, it works. My pores do look smaller and less deep. My makeup stays on 12hrs with a 2hr side sleep nap. I can’t make this up. Does it make my pores disappear? No. Does it make my skin look naturally more refined? Yes. I expected it to stay silky and wet feeling, but it dries down & doesn’t seem to budge or mix weirdly when I apply my foundation & concealer. It also doesn’t repel product from my nose area. Sometimes getting foundation and powder to lay nicely on my nose is inexplicably strenuous... but everything went on top so well and stayed so well! I did get this free from Influenster, but I’d legit buy it for myself after having tried it now. I always stayed away because I swore it would be a disaster, but it’s not at all!

Review for OUAI Wave Spray - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 2
Purchased at: Sephora
I really don’t like this spray. While it doesn’t make my hair frizz as much as other salt sprays meant for beach waves, it definitely doesn’t give me cute beach waves. They look cute while my hair is still damp, but when they’re dry, they just look limp and sad. They look more like abandoned beach waves. I’m glad I got the travel size for free so I didn’t waste my money on it. I even have naturally wavy hair, so I’m not sure what went so horribly wrong.

Review for OLEHENRIKSEN Transforming Walnut Scrub - 2 months, 3 weeks ago

Fantastic for getting deep pores clean. It’s also great for getting clogged pores clean on your chest, and my husband enjoys using it after he shaves to keep razor burn and ingrown hairs away. Well worth the price.

I have a bunch of these. They’re thin enough for a nice, precise waterline application. They’re smooth going on. They have good pigmentation. I like the price. What I don’t like is that the liner is so skinny that it easily snaps. It’s not self sharpening, so obviously it needs to be made thin... but it also wobbles around in the tube so much that sometimes it snaps in the tube if it doesn’t snap at the end... so that’s frustrating. They seem to stay ok on the waterline, but I would pack them in your bag when you go somewhere because you’ll probably need to touch up if you’re out all day. All in all, I wouldn’t buy these again because I feel like there are better liners out there that give me better staying power, more product, and better packing.

Review for: Other more...
I bought the deluxe size set of Kitten Karma, Rose Gold Retro & Smoldering Satin. I say, they live up to the hype as far as pigmentation and performance. They’re absolutely gorgeous on the lid and stay on all day without creasing or flaking. They also don’t feel heavy on the lid or create alligator skin like some other brands of eye toppers. The only thing I don’t like is the price. $24 for a full sized one is way too expensive. If they had more of the deluxe 3 shadow sets (like the one I did buy) for $25 I’d buy like all of them. Definitely recommend these for an extra POP on the lid.

Review for Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost - Ice Cold - 6 months, 2 weeks ago
Though it’s too pale for me, I think it’s a nice highlighter. It’s more of an eyeshadow type of formula because it’s not that finely milled, which can really emphasize texture on the skin and come off as very metallic if you’re not careful. This is a soft formula for this particular highlighter, and a little dip in goes a long way. I think you get a lot of highlighter for the price, the packaging is great, but I do wish the formula was more finely milled.

Review for: Morphe 35OS Nature Glow Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette more...
I think the shimmers in this palette are beautiful. The only thing is, there are so many similar colors that I don’t think it gives much variety. It’s worth the price if you like shimmers, but I have mine to a friend because they’re too similar, and I have many of those same shimmers in other palettes. Otherwise there’s nothing wrong with the quality.

Review for bareMinerals MADE-2-FIT Fresh Faced Liquid Foundation - 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I absolutely loved this when I first got it (free from Influenster) because it was the perfect match. The finish is also extremely flattering on my skin. It’s like a satin finish. Light-medium buildable coverage. No fragrance. Wears all day without caking and creasing. Works well with my concealers and powders. And it just makes my face look so naturally beautiful. My only gripe is that it oxidized within the first two months. It does still perform when mixed with NYX white foundation mixer, but for a $49 bottle of foundation, I shouldn’t have to mix it. However, because it’s literally the prettiest my face has ever looked, I’m going to keep purchasing it even if I have to mix another bottle with the NYX stuff...

Review for Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette - 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I am genuinely impressed with the quality of this palette. I was expecting to be let down based on my previous Morphe palette experience 3yrs ago. The quality of this palette is actually good. The mattes blend well and have decent pigmentation. They’re also buildable without being patchy or powdering away into oblivion. The shimmers are good without being wet, which is surprising, but they’re even better when wet. It’s a very cohesive, everyday, all around palette that I think is a great addition to your collection if you like to have a little of everything in one palette. I would personally travel with this despite its large size because of the variety of looks it gives me. Though, I would put it in somewhere without any smaller items because there’s nothing keeping the palette from opening and getting ruined should an eyeliner find its way under the lid. I also don’t think it’s worth $38 though... I mean thin cardboard packaging with no mirror & no solid closure. No sis. However, I picked mine up with an Ulta 20% prestige brands coupon + I redeemed $9 in Ulta rewards. I highly encourage others to do the same if they find they want to purchase this palette. All in all, I would recommend as a good all around palette for beginners to pros at a lower price.
