Review for Tito's Handmade Vodka - 9 months ago
Tito's is by far the best quality vodka at its price point. In fact, it is even better than some of those at higher price points. One thing that I love about Tito's is that they donate a percentage of all profits to an animal rescue group. This is a company that I can feel good about supporting. When you drink Tito's, you're helping support animals in need! It's a win-win!!
This product is great for damaged, color-treated, and/or chemically-treated hair. My hair is naturally "dishwater" blonde, but it lightens up in the summer. So in the fall and winter I bleach the roots or get highlights. It's pretty thick, so it handles it pretty well, but of course the ends get a little rough.
This product brings my damaged ends back to life. I use it every time I shower, only on the ends, and it makes them so soft and less prone to tangles. It really does improve the health of your hair.
Review for Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo 250ml/8.45oz - 9 months, 1 week ago
This shampoo smells great and does a wonderful job of preserving color--even blonde. I used to work at an Aveda salon, so I know which products are just gimmicks and which are the real deal. This shampoo and conditioner really do work--so much so that I'm willing to pay full price now that I don't get an employee discount! ;)

Review for Stila Color Balm Lipstick - 9 months, 1 week ago
These are so moisturizing and long-lasting. The color Vivienne is so flattering with my porcelain skin and blonde hair, and I think it would look great on a variety of skin tones. The packaging is also gorgeous, as others have mentioned. I'll probably buy a couple of the other colors as well!
Review for Avene Cleanance Gel - 9 months, 1 week ago
I couldn't use this because of the fragrance added to the product. I don't necessarily have sensitive skin, but this made my skin itch like nothing else. I guess if you can tolerate it, it might work for you, but if you are at all sensitive to fragrances or other irritants, I would stay away from this.

Review for Oreo Double Stuf Chocolate Sandwich Cookies - 9 months, 1 week ago
These are, without a doubt, the best Oreos. Regular Oreos don't have enough filling and their taste is overwhelmed by the chocolate cookie. The Double Stuf Oreo, however, has a perfect ratio, lending it an exquisite taste profile. Don't waste your time or money on regular Oreos or, God forbid, some monstrosity like lemon Oreos. These are the only Oreos that should still be made, with the exception of the Mega Stuf Oreo, which we'll have to discuss another time...

The blood orange flavor is the best, by far, out of all the Pellegrino flavored beverages. It is not too sweet, but you can still taste the sweetness of the "regular" orange behind the slightly tart blood orange flavor. It is a complex flavor, and it is sublime. It is best very cold, served over ice. It is also very good as a cocktail mixer.

Review for Alaska Airlines - 9 months, 1 week ago
Alaska is my favorite airline to fly. The flight attendants are the nicest of any airline, the seats seem bigger, there are outlets in all the seats, and I always have a more pleasant experience when I fly with Alaska. I have never had any problems with my luggage, and even the gate agents seem friendlier. Given the choice, I would pick Alaska over any other airline.
Review for ProFlowers - 9 months, 1 week ago
I ordered 5 different flower arrangements to be sent to various family members for Mother's Day. I live in Seattle and my family lives in Kentucky. I was worried (to say the least) about everything arriving on the correct day, in good condition, and at the proper addresses.

Everything was perfect. From the messages and pictures I received, everything was even more beautiful than shown on the website. The orchids I ordered for my 96 year old grandmother arrived with a dozen blooms on them! She was thrilled!

The only reason I deducted one star is because it was very expensive. Shipping on a normal day is $16, plus $4 for "handling and care"--like they aren't going to handle it with care if they aren't paid that extra $4? But on Mother's Day, shipping cost an extra $16, making it almost as much as some of the flowers we sent. That's over $35 to ship each individual set of flowers, and we had 5...They even charged us $35 twice to send two orders to the same address.

So, I'm glad that it all worked out and that everyone was happy with their flowers, but it was very expensive.
Review for tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer - 9 months, 1 week ago
The color range of this concealer is great. I am super pale, due to a health condition, and it is very difficult for me to find things in my shade. Tarte usually delivers on this front, and the Shape Tape Concealer was no exception.

This concealer works great for underneath the eyes--it brightens them up very well when applied properly. I deducted two starts, however, because this concealer is not very good at concealing pimples that are in the healing stages. If there is any dry, flaky skin, this will only highlight that, regardless of how the product is applied. I tried it with my beauty blender, clean fingers, and various brushes, but it was not meant to be. So, if you are looking for a concealer that serves strictly to cover under-eye circles, this may be the perfect product for you. Unfortunately, that is not my main concern, so I was a little disappointed in this product.
