Review for Funyuns Onion Flavored Rings - 1 month, 1 week ago
They are absolutely terrible for you, but so delicious. It is a manufactured flavor, but I definitely enjoy it. Don'tt expect many full sized rings as they tend to break easily, especially when man handled in the store. I recommend to those who aren't looking for authentic onion ring flavored treats. These are a sweatpants and old t-shirt, sitting on the couch binge watching Netflix kind of snack.

Review for Athenos Feta Crumbled W/Basil & Tomato Cheese 170 G Tub - 1 month, 1 week ago
I love Feta cheese and have tried many different brands. Athenos, by far, is the best I've had. I enjoy a lot of spinach and feta omelets and the tomato basil feta is absolutely delicious adding a little bit of extra flavor to breakfast. The extra flavor is subtle, but apparent.

Review for Nivea Milk & Honey Soothing Lip Care - 1 month, 1 week ago
This is my favorite lip moisturizer next to Burt's Bees. It is highly effective, especially in harsh New England winter months. The price point is a bit higher than some of the less effective products out there as to be expected. I have no problem paying a little bit more for a product that works better. I prefer the milk and honey with a bit sweeter smell to it, but it not overly fragrant for those that might be put off put harsh scents. I typically put on about 20 minutes before my lipstick for a little extra hydration.

Review for Nyx Cosmetics Velvet Matte Lipstick - 1 month, 1 week ago
This is the most amazing lipstick I have ever owned. I have very dry lips, no matter how hydrated I am or how much moisturizer I use. I love the look of matte lipstick, but have really never been able to ear it. Dry lips tend to show all of the awfulness of your lips right through matte lipstick. I received this as a recommendation from one of the sales associates at Ulta Beauty. I was the best purchase I made that night. The color is long lasting and is hydrating for dry lips. It lasts all day, and I do not have to worry about reapplying every 20 minutes.  The price is also awesome! Super inexpensive but great quality. "Charmed" is my favorite shade, but they have many different beautiful options I highly recommend this lipstick to anyone who is afraid to wear matte lipstick because of dry lips.

Review for Exposed Acne Treatment - Basic Kit - 1 month, 1 week ago
Like any acne treatment product, the results can vary based on your skin and ability to stick to a routine. The first week I used the product everyday and it dried my skin out pretty badly. I switched to every 2-3 days and it was a bit better. I still suffered from dryness, but the moisturizer was decent. I found that it did a good job covering the dryness everywhere except my cheekbones. It cleared up a bit of the mild acne, but some of the tougher stuff it did not help with. I typically see a spike in my breakouts that one special week a month for us ladies. It just could not combat my breakouts at those times. I am still searching for a good acne treatment as this just didn't cut it. The one upside is the money back guarantee - if you do not achieve a reduction of your acne and smoother skin, you may return your first kit WITHIN 1 YEAR OF YOUR PURCHASE for a full refund.

Review for Purina Frosty Paws Peanut Butter Flavor - 4 CT - 1 month, 1 week ago
My Malinois/Lab mix is a HUGE fan! There are two things in this world my dog loves more than me - daycare and doggie ice cream. She could be upstairs sleeping, but as soon as she hears the freezer she suddenly appears at your feet. They can be a bit pricey if not purchased on sale so I make sure I stock up when I can. It takes her about 3-4 minutes to completely devour the treat, and then spends about 30 seconds shredding the paper cup before I manage to take it away. I have had dogs in the past that required some assistance holding the cup as they liked, especially if they were on a hardwood or tile floor. Frosty Paws can be found in most stores that have a frozen food/ice cream section. I usually get them from Stop and Shop or Walmart. Make sure you look in the human section though. I haven't found these in the pet aisle for many, many years.

Review for KONG Zoom Groom Dog Brush - 1 month, 1 week ago
If you own a dog that sheds a lot you understand my pain. Mara is part Shepard, part Lab so she has the shedding down part from every angle. I can vacuum the entire house and five minutes later watch a tumbleweed of fur go rolling by. It is a never-ending battle that I lose every time.  I’ve ask a lot of groomers about how to help shed her on my own time with a good tool. I’ve seen a million different brushes, some good some bad, but recently a groomer recommended to me the ZoomGroom. I used to use a slicker brush, but it always seemed to scare Mara. I found out that it is easy to hurt dogs with them in you go too deep. The brush is metal can scratch their skin and make brushing really unpleasant for them. For fluffier dogs it make be more ideal, but for most dogs I’ve found that it’s really not. Mara just hated it.The ZoomGroom is made by Kong, and is all rubber, just like the chew toys. They come in various sizes depending on the size of your pet and also make one specifically for cats – same brush but a different shape. Mara is 55 lbs and the large size is perfect for her. One of the great things about this brush is that it can also be used in the tub for shampooing. It works up a great lather and helps pull out the loose undercoat at the same time. I highly recommend brushing your dog outside if possible because it will pull off a lot of fur, probably more than you’d think. This also works great on all types of coats. I’ve talked to other dogs owners who use it on their big fluffy Chows and people who use it on their Boxers, while Mara falls in between. I also find the brush doubles as a doggie massage for Mara. She’ll near fall asleep on me while getting brushed. The brushes are very reasonably priced between $5 and $10 and well worth the small investment. After a while the brush will start to wear down and become less effective, but it will be quite a while before that happens. When it does, the brush can become a great chew toy and you can get a new one for grooming. Since the toy is all rubber, same as the Kong toys, your dogs can play with the brush without worry. Occasionally Mara will swipe hers and chew on it for a bit. No harm, no foul.I  have used many different types of brushes on Mara and my boys back home who all have very different coats and enthusiasm for brushings. I highly recommend this over any other brush no matter the coat. If you groom your dog at home or you just want to be able to vacuum a little less, then definitely make the small investment in this brush.

Review for Kong Classic Rubber Dog Toy - 1 month, 1 week ago
My dog loves to destroy toys in a mere matter of minutes. All of the toys that claim to be "indestructible" are toast in under an hour. For a 50 lb Belgian Malinois and Lab mix the large Kong is perfect, and has yet to be destroyed in over a year and counting (knock wood!). Sometimes my dog will need to be home alone for a couple hours and if not entertained, she will chew things around the room. I hate crating her, so filling up her Kong gives me the freedom to leave her out of the crate and keep her busy. Pro: stands up to tough chewers, no awful rubber smell like most cheaper versions, can use with any treats (although Kong makes some great compatibles)Cons:I can't possibly think of any! I highly recommend this as a great way to keep a destructive dog happy and safe.
